The most racist unprofessional place i have ever went to. The will literally kick you out in the middle of your visit with them because of an appointment. They have terrible customer service all though TJ was very helpful and polite. Wouldn’t recommend going to the location!!!!!

True Story... Capital One stole my money. They lost my direct deposit in June '22. I called over and over asking them to find it. They finally find it January '23. They put it someone else's account, give me a trace number, but won't credit my account because the person they gave my money to, withdrew it and they say they can't recover it. They put it in the wrong account, their customer took it, and all they will tell me is "sorry". Oh, they did say I should write a letter... as in pen and paper in an envelope with a stamp on it write a letter to the president of the company and hope...HOPE!!!... they decide to give me my money. Like I said, this is a true story.

Worse bank out here. Had gone down the drain since buying Chevy Chase out. I recommend PNC Bank or Bank of America. The fees are also ridiculous. Capital one is a credit card company. Get out of banking as you are awful at it!!! You are great at screwing your customers over!!!

Came here to open a small business account today. I filled out an interest form online to make sure I had what I needed. The email told me I could stop by at anytime to get set up. When I arrived with my belongings (after finding a sitter for my disabled wheelchair bound kid) I was met with one other client in the bank and at least six staff members.I was told that I can’t open an account because I didn’t make an appt. however no where on the website does it say you have to make an appt, and the email inquiry I sent also didn’t say I needed to make an appt. they didn’t care that the email didn’t give this information nor did they care that I went through a lot of trouble to get there. It’s fine, I can open an account somewhere else. I generally only use my personal account to do zelle anyway but needed a business account now that I am getting larger deposits. Other banks offer that feature as well so I’ll shop around.

For the service that I get at this bank, the few times I have physically come here, this should actually be a 4 to 5 stay review. The bank has changed a lot, from the time it was the neighborhood Chevy Chase Bank to Capital One. The jury is still out on whether I like the changes. One thing is certain whether your address in the phone or walk into a bank, they have the most friendliest employees. Why the 3 stars you may ask? Well I'm here because they started charging me a monthly fee despite having a healthy account. In here waiting in their new hotel like lobby, using the free WiFi and coffee to ask if I need to close my account is if they have a fee-less option. BTW there are excellent alternatives within a mile. I'm sure they won't disappoint. I'll update this review if they do!

Upon return from military assignment in Germany I was assigned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center We found a home in the Fallsgrove Community Then Chevy Chase Bank we made it our community banking center for professional and personal needs Though it changed its name to Capital One Bank, it did not change quality of service Banks are more than a repository of currency They safe guard a trusted relationship of patron to banker We feel more like family than customer The management and other banking staff reflect genuine concern and cooperation in all that they do for myself and my family as well as every attendant communication for the past sixteen years Thank you

The teller abused my card and the only thing she could say was sorry. I had to get a new card.

This bank lost my parent's security deposit box agreement. My parents had accessed this box on numerous occasions until one day they were denied. Even when my parents showed them the keys they had which had CC FSB (Chevy Chase FSB, the predecessor to Cap One) engraved on it, they refused to even check if the keys would work. The bank manager (Swati Sawhey) was unwilling to help in any sort of way and so was the regional manager (Akieng Tiku). They wouldnt even try to see if the keys we had would work and there were documents inside that had their names on them (and could name the contents of the box in entirety). After weeks of arguing, they apparently found the documents in an unlocked file cabinet and were able to verify it was in fact my parents. The regional manager even had the nerve to suggest that my parents knew that it wasnt accounted for and purposely didnt disclose it to get a free security deposit box. If you are a high net worth individual, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BANKING HERE OR USING THE SECURITY DEPOSIT BOX. The customer service was unfathomable and basically made no effort to resolve it.
