Long lines to get prescriptions! Beware that you need half an hour to get a prescription even when it is ready. They need more staff.

First of all - what’s the point of setting an appointment when we still have to wait for
Over an hour. Also it took forever to get my prescription, they kept sending it to the wrong place or not sending at all. Just a waste of time and energy.

Vaccine experience:
Check your dose and what you are given (rec'd 1.0ml of 0.5ml recommended dose of my vaccine).
Generally unfriendly staff...
Vaccination room is 'semi-private' - a non-issue for me but perhaps for some...door left half open...
Easy to confuse minute clinic (next door) with pharmacy...different reservation systems that don't talk to each other...
Minute clinic is lesser of the two evils.

The pharmacy team (including the manager) that I encountered, are in desperate need of patient care training, emotional intelligence training, pharmacy employee policy training, patient policy expectation training, love and respect for their career (2nd nature), and more. Long story short, I had to involve corporate customer services, as the pharmacy team gave me the runaround on a refund (charged me $160+ on medication that should have been a ~$30 copay). On this particular day, I visited the pharmacy to pick up new medication and process the refund for the last medication, as earlier in the day a pharmacy technician started (over the phone) that the pharmacy doesn’t process refunds via phone calls and I must visit the pharmacy. At the pharmacy, the pharmacy manager tells me that she will not process the refund and suggests that I attempt to process through my insurance and sends me back to a pharmacy tech. to get my new prescription; and didn’t entertain any further questions. I then ask the pharmacy tech for the mgr’s name, tech gives me a name, which I was not sure if I heard or wrote the name correctly. I then ask for the MGR’s last name, to which the MGR spoke up and refused to provide a last name. Of course, I need the information to contact customer services. Anyhow, I’m not going to argue of force anyone to provide anything. So I took a picture of the MGR, in plain view, not hiding it at all, about 6 customers witnessing it all. The MGR and the tech demand that I delete the picture. Both get in my face, constantly repeating their demand to delete the picture. I just said “no, I am not deleting the picture”. The pharmacy MGR pages a gentleman who appears to be the store manager. Pharmacy MGR asked the store manager to make me delete the picture. SM does as he is told, and again I stated “no, I am not deleting the picture”. SM asked why I need the picture. I respond that the pharmacy MGR is refusing to provide her full name (name provided may very well not be her) and I want to make sure that I am referencing the correct manager when I contact customer services. In an attempt to end this chaos; point out to the SM that we are not getting anywhere and if I could get my medication and go. The pharmacy manager yelled “No. I will not sell her the medication!”. I turn around and walk away. As I am leaving, MGR yelled “I will press charges on you!”.
I have a lengthy list of medical issues, and it is difficult for me to leave my home. Furthermore, the medication that I attempted to pick up that day, was to alleviate extreme pain to a specific condition.

Long wait, RUDE check-in clerk. Hoping I got the proper vaccine; have no confidence in clinic’s professionalism. Opting for my doctor’s office next time.

Long lines 1 or 2 cashiers
When there break comes they just leave leaving 1 cashier
People behind need to address the long lines
The new phone system is as bad as the section to drop off prescriptions
Haven't figured out why they don't care to call back and be patient with customer
The rest of the store is good
The store manager needs to get cashiers to help in RX
Fast not ignoring
Fix the issues
Thinking about leaving
And I am a great customer for u
Tonight again.no hekp at RX
Cashier not trained
My RX not completed
Couldn't see anyone willing to help.at this rate
I will pull
My 10k or more RX out to someone who cares

My only issue with this store was the wait in the retail area of the store and slightly the customer service. Me and another customer needed assistance at the self checkouts and although it was clear that I needed help FIRST; the guy still went to the other man to assist him before me. I waited 5 mins and the other guy waited for maybe a minute. That was irritable.
The Pharmacy was great; everyone back there was pleasant. Although they had a long line and were dealing with some pretty difficult customers, they were trying to get people in and out.

Dear CVS Management,
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an experience at your Tuckerman location, following my recent shoulder surgery. After undergoing a painful procedure, my doctor prescribed Percocet to manage my post-operative pain. However, what should have been a straightforward process turned into a distressing ordeal.
On my initial visit, I arrived in significant pain, only to be told by a staff member that the pharmacy was closed for lunch. I explained my condition and my need for pain relief, but was still instructed to return later. After enduring an uncomfortable weekend without the prescribed pain medication, I finally received notification that my prescription was ready for pick-up.for new and first time I saw they refuse doctor script form hospital they were not able to do Electronic on a Friday as I discharge!
Upon returning, despite my visible discomfort, I was met with an attitude that felt dismissive. The staff member (whose name I believe is Mamy) advised me to stand in line, despite my clear signs of post-surgical pain. I have no issue waiting when necessary; however, her lack of empathy in light of my recent surgery was troubling. To make matters worse, after a lengthy wait, I was ultimately informed that the rest but I have suffer pain like 8 out of 10.
As a patient recovering from a no-fault car accident and significant surgery, this experience felt not only frustrating but also deeply insensitive. While I have always appreciated the professionalism of many of your team members—including female doctor and one of your younger male pharmacists—this recent interaction has left me feeling disappointed and neglected.i share to few family and friend. I also talked today morning to doctor office and they haven’t accepted excuse since result came to no pain killer in first 72 hours for me as post operation!
I hope you can address these concerns to improve patient care, particularly for those in critical need of pain management. Thank you for your time and understanding. It may happens one case per day, week to go for control substances med exactly after surgery but worth to concern their case as priority as they are.
Sincerely,
Nata

The store is good and well-managed, but the pharmacy…pfff…every time I have to deal with this pharmacy I promise myself I will transfer to a new place. Wait times, attitude of people who work there, total lack of flexibility…my favorite is a lunch break, of course! Not like people don’t need to eat, but I wonder how other businesses are handling this? Anyway, today was another lousy experience when first I was told that the prescription will be ready for a pick up in 20 minutes, then in 20 minutes turned out that the meds have been backordered and then that they don’t carry these meds at all….

This CVS location is extremely well managed, thanks in large part to Axel Gary, the store manager for the past 6 years. They handle a very high volume of customers at both retail and pharmacy by using an amazingly large number of staff. Yesterday at the pharmacy there were 3 staff members checking out customers and 5-6 pharmacy staff intaking and filling prescriptions. Staff keep shelves restocked continuously and are called upon immediately to handle the checkout line if needed and assist customers with self- checkout issues. Axel and other managers routinely circulate throughout the store greeting customers and offering assistance.
