We just purchased a certified pre-owned XC40 Inscription with 11k miles for my wife. Robert (our sales rep) and Markel (the sales manager) were fantastic to work with and the transaction could not have been easier. After two calls and a single visit we completed the deal, which included trading in our old car, and drove out of the showroom in our new car. Everything was exactly as represented and there were no high pressure sales tactics. Great buying experience. Highly recommended.

The dealership manager, Alex Pedram, demonstrated a high level of professionalism in all our email communications. He consistently provided timely and comprehensive information, ensuring a smooth and efficient leasing experience.Furthermore, the salesperson, Julia, went above and beyond to facilitate the paperwork and processing on the delivery day. Her kindness shone through as she graciously offered to give me a ride from a nearby train station, considering I had traveled from out of state to pick up the car. Julia's courtesy and attention to detail truly made the entire experience remarkable.I highly recommend this dealership for their excellent service, professional staff, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Had an issue with Volvo corporate covering some repairs and was ready to never buy another Volvo. Alexander stepped in immediately. He got a full understanding of the issue and provided as fair solution which led me to buying another Volvo. He regained a loyal customer that was ready to walk. I have gotten 2 Volvos from this dealership and have had the pleasure of working with Manny Rodriguez. I usually hate this whole car buying process, however, Manny made it so easy. He is personable, knowledgeable and so easy going! He took the time to go over the cars features, helped connect my phone, and showed me how to utilize the app. He made sure I was happy with my purchase every step of the way. Even though it has been a couple of months since I was in there, as soon as I went in to pick up my tags, he knew exactly who I was and greeted me with a welcoming hug. Manny is my go-to guy at Darcars Volvo!

I bought my car almost a year ago and I can't say enough positive things about DARCARS. We had originally gone to a different Volvo dealership and they were okay but it felt like the typical sales pitch. At DARCARS, they make you feel like family. Manny sold us our car and he really is family now. I can text, call, or just show up and I'm greeted with smiles and hugs. He's always reminding me of the cool technology on my car that I forget about. Most importantly, Manny and the team at DARCARS are honest, genuine, and really care about building relationships. I love my car and hope to keep it for a while, but I also know that 100% my next car will be from them too. I've never experienced this level of quality from a dealership ever.

Came from New York to this dealership to buy a used but clean(dealer stated) $58,000 Range Rover, but ended up not buying. Car had a front left accident, which the dealer did not disclose. They admitted to knowing about the accident after being shown how badly the panels were put together, but didn’t feel like sharing because they thought I wouldn’t catch the issue. Very disappointed! A waste of time and money!Reply to DARCARS Volvo after their reply: Excuses only make you look dishonest and irresponsible. It is your job to inspect and inform the customers with honesty when selling a car. Although the carfax was clean, the car had its front bumper repaired, and the salesperson did not disclose this information before entering in agreement or me flying down to DC to pick up the car. I only discovered the repaired bumper when I arrived there. Yes, this is case of negotiation not going well because there was dishonesty from the dealership side hoping to sell a car for way more than it's worth with a damaged and fixed front bumper.Don't forget about the chips and poor touch-ups all around the car, especially in the rear hatch, which need painting. I hope you disclose those as well.

I had a refreshingly smooth and straightforward transaction with a few staff members. As a current Volvo driver, I bought a newer model. My salesperson, Keavon, was very professional, knowledgeable and demonstrated the car's features, especially the tech elements. No high pressure sales -- more of a discussion to make the right purchase for my needs.

I never have a headache going to the car dealer b/c I always have Manny at Volvo to work with and he helps take care of all the headaches for me! He is the absolute best and always puts the customer first and truly cares. Always provides recommendations that will keep your car looking new and feeling new. Never thought I would say this, but going to the car dealer is not so bad when you have a person who cares that works there. Thanks Manny for all your help over the years!! You're the best!

We spent many days looking for the perfect vehicle to buy but were frustrated by all that was available until we came upon DarCars Volvo Dealership.We had the best experience from the first phone call to check the availability of the Volvo we were interested in. Kevin, the Sales Manager was extremely nice to deal with. Then he put me through to Keavon, what a pleasure to deal with as well. I asked him to send me additional photos of the Volvo in question, and within minutes I had what I needed to set up an appointment to meet with him. We drove several hours to get to this Dealership and it was worth the drive time! We were greeted immediately by Keavon and were able to see the Volvo right away to inspect it for ourselves. Keavon was extremely knowledgeable on all the systems and history on this particular used Volvo. We had plenty of time deciding on this Volvo. All our questions answered professionally and we were never rushed or pressured. We ultimately purchased the Volvo we looked at. The Team of people we dealt with at Darcars of Rockville, MD were absolutely exceptional and professional, not to mention made us feel right at home. Kevin and Keavon in Sales and Peter in Finance made this purchase as seamless as possible. It was a pleasure to deal with all of them! We would definitely make the drive again to this amazing Volvo Dealership!!!Thank you again to all of you!

After several bad experiences with shady sales people and sales managers in the DMV area, I landed by a referral to DARCARS Volvo and Manny Rodriguez. I have never been more pleased with a car buying experience than with them, so pleased that I am in my third car purchased thru them. Volvos are very reliable cars, and they mostly sale themselves, what makes it different with DARCARS is the care of their customers. They make you feel like part of the family and you dont feel like they just want your money. I am and will be a customer for a long time. Same way I posted when I felt cheated by another dealership a bad review, i have to be fair and give these people a good one when deserved.

We have purchased over 3 cars from this dealership over the years and have never had any issues. This place is honest, amazing and caring. Paola was an amazing sales person and still follows up and helps all our family and friends with car needs. The GM was amazing and so was the finance department. I would purchase from here over and over again.

Absolutely terrible experience with Darcars Volvo. Almost turned me away from the Volvo brand, but I came around only because Darcars local competitors saved the day for Volvo.Reached out to Darcars via email asking for a lease on C40 Recharge. One of their sales rep, Paula Mejia, responded to my query by the usual "we have the vehicle available if you want to come by and test drive it" response. I reached back to her within an hour informing her that I am currently test driving different vehicles and can come by over the weekend to test drive the Volvo. Today is the tenth day of my response, and I am still waiting for Paula's response. Anyway, since I was free over the weekend, I drove over to Darcars to test drive the vehicle. There was an Plug-in Hybrid version of XC40 inside the showroom, so I started looking at it. Sat inside, walked around it. There was another sales person, Yulia Denika, walking around, not even making an eye contact. There were some other sales/financing people at the dealership, but they were all in their glass rooms. No one was paying attention to me. After Yulia passed by me third time, I made an eye contact with her and she goes "Need help?!", "nope, just came to see you walk pass me a dozen times" I said to myself. Anyway, I told her what I am looking for, she pointed to a vehicle outside and said "its out there". What kind of dealership is this?! I ignored the snobby attitude, and was like "can I test drive it?". Got in to the car, she was extremely robotic and monotonic, like she was either forced to work there, or were forced to be my sales person. Once the test drive was over, I told her that I will get in touch with her to go over the numbers. The next day, I sent her an email asking what the lease number are, she goes "I've discussed with my manager and he's presented the best offer we can provide for the C40 Ultimate. The monthly payments are $xxx.xx". No break down, no details, just a number and "We require $1000 deposit to require the vehicle" Basically, "we dont care about you, all we care about is money." I had to ask Yulia for break-down of the cost, and then she comes around and email them to me. Numbers were still quite high though. So, I told her that I will think about it, and started looking at other dealerships in the area. There was one more dealership in Bethesda (I will be leaving them a review in a bit. They definitely earned it), so I reached out to them. Right off the bat, they were super responsive and were crystal clear with their numbers. Their manager sent me the numbers, with detailed breakdowns, without even me asking them. I emailed Yulia back and told her that I am not interested anymore, since I got a much better price from their competitors, she responds with "As the leading dealership in the region, we're well-positioned to offer competitive pricing. If you could share the quote you've received, I'd be happy to discuss it with my manager and see what we can do for you." I sent her the quote I got from the competitors and told her that I will lease from Darcars if they can beat the competitor's offer, its been 5 days today, and I have yet to hear back from her. Not even "Sorry we cant match them" or any such formality either. So, to sum it up, Darcars Volvo's customer service is sub par, at best. They lack courtesy but there seems to be no shortage of attitude. May be their management need to have a little chat with their sales people, because Lexus dealership is right next door to them, and Telsa and BMW are not too far either. If they continue the same trend, Darcars Volvo's dealership will start seeing less and less customers. --- This same review is posted on multiple forums and review sites ---

We leased a XC60 Hybrid SUV from Darcars Volvo in R'ville, MD two years ago, and I'm surprised to continue to be so extremely pleased with their Sales and Service. I initially contacted a Manny Rodriguez, who is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of Volvo cars, and he seems to give every client all his time to explain things, very kind, very helpful, and he then took us to his sales manager, Alex Pedram, an equally honest & straightforward person.For Service, we have always used Jimmy Wong, who is thorough, caring, patient, and always does the best for the customer!The dealership caters to their customers in every way, from the best cappucinos to comfortable waiting & working areas. If we buy or lease a Volvo, which we most likely will again, it'll be with this dealership.
