I rented from Extra Space at 11850 Parklawn Dr. Rockville for the last year. I took the web rate which was guaranteed for the first 4 months, but I knew what the maximum amount the unit would go for. So, yes, the rate increases after a few months and then increases again until it gets up to what the normal rate is. So, people, be happy that you got a discount for a few months! The staff is very helpful and the place is clean. There is a secure gate, but as a woman I don't ever feel comfortable going to a place by myself. Maybe that is just me.

If you need anything regarding your storage area John responds right away and handles all issues with accuracy and professionalism. One of the best and cleanest locations to rent. A very pragmatic and aesthetic design layout for all the units, not to mention the ease of accessibility each time you need to come through the gate. All in all, if you need to rent, this is most definitely the place to do it!!!

I was extremely challenged getting a storage space for my belongings. I had also ran into issues with a few things along the way. I contacted customer service and they put me in contact with John. John, listened to the issue and provided a solution. He was able to find me a storage solution that fit my budget. He also followed up with me. He is great to work with for your long term storage solution. He does assist you quickly and is willing to listen.

I've been renting storage space here on behalf of an organization for about two years now. We've rented the indoor climate-controlled 5' x 10' and 10' x 10' (nominal) storage units. The customer service is really top notch, and the common areas are well maintained. There are always plenty of hand trucks, and I have always been able to park right in front of the door when moving things in or out. Highly recommended.
