Would not recommend selling products there. They are not aware of the items brought in. Ladies are nice, but the one gentleman there quoted a price without investigating and researching the value. I wouldn't give a 1 start because of the nice ladies. Just lack of education from a business perspective. Also, it was surprising the quote they gave me for the item I was selling. Most of the items in the audio department is junk. Thank you though for your time.

They just need to go out of business they reprice the item for market value but don't want to give more than 50 but your item is worth 200 or more

Think of the worst type of pawn shop. This one is worse. I brought in 2 laptops today. They for retail for $800 each. I put it on Facebook market place and was offered $600 for both. Not wanting to sell them, I opted to pawn them. I took it to a pawn shop in Germantown and was offered $100 each. A little too low as I needed at least $300. I then took the 2 laptops to this place and the clown in charge tells his employee to offer me $20 each. They must have confused me for their usual meth head customers.Needless to say, I gave in and sold them on Facebook for $600.

The person I dealt with (Pearce) was quite friendly and helpful. I was a bit hesitant about coming here after reading the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I pawned a 2010 Fender American Standard Stratocaster, and while I didn't get as much for it as I would have liked, on balance I thought the offer was reasonable. I told him that I have some other items ( particularly automotive memorabilia), and he said to bring them in, and he would check the values. Altogether, while not totally pleasant, since I love the guitar and hated to see it go, they made the experience as painless as possible. At least, I pawned it rather than selling it to them, so I hopefully can redeem it.

I'd give it a 0 if I could. The customer service is terrible. Worst pawn shop experience ever. Do not go here. They will more than low ball you if you're selling and they sell broke stuff.

Customer service is appalling under the current management! There are not so subtle racism as well. Felt it as a person of color. Went there for several years, but decided after last visit in 2021, never to do business there again.

Straight up as bad as it gets. No customer service. The guy in there was chilling on his phone while the girl with glasses literally acts like she is better than the world. Not only was her attitude disgusting, so was everything about her. She ignored me for 30 minutes and then disrespectfully offered me $5 for a monitor that sells on ebay for $80-100. Never go to place with such an horrible demeanor.

I lost my wallet earlier in the week and had to come up with some quick cash for a beach trip I'm going on tomorrow. I stopped by First Cash Pawn this AM with a 19 gram 14k Gold Ring and a Jade 18k bracelet. I've had both for years, and know the provenance on both items. Young lady behind the counter took a quick 5 second look at the ring and declared it 'not real'. I was able to convince her to test both items and she said the machines was taking it as real... I am sure this was a saving face, but I know BS when I see it.. Not interested? I understand - that is the store perrogative - as we live in America...but declaring a real item is 'not real' is not good. I went down the road to Gaithersburg Pawn Exchange who took a quick look at gave a reasonable offer which i quickly took. Took a bit more time & gas, but GET A SECOND OPINION if something doesn't seem right. when pawn or selling...To the young lady behind the counter - maybe just say 'not interested', instead of calling an item fake. Less liability issues should something go awry. No need to doxx you - I dont know what else you had going, so I wont make any assumptions....***2 stars*** as I occasionally stop by as a buyer, and have no complaints from the buyers side

I was just here just a few moments ago and I'm sorry but there isn't a pawn shop in the world who isn't out to beat you. They use eBay as there only outlet to sell. Good thing is most people are smart enough to know there stuff before but yes im sorry I do not advise using any pawn shops to sell something especially here. Thats why I stay with my normal selling like marketplace where they aren't here to hurt you more then help you. So yah if you want to bring things there to get anything at all I wouldn't go there. Sorry. It's sad how pawn shops make so much of the unfortunate.

I've been dealing with Steve for over 3 decades. The staff is very nice. Steve is very professional and helpful. He has always been upfront when it comes to all business transactions. During COVID, he was able to maintain the guidelines, followed cleaning ordinances, and also make sure that he was able to be there for his clients. I highly recommend Steve at the Rockville location that he manages.
