Decided to head up from DC. Their website, that they control, said they are open until 8 pm Saturday. Show up, their front door says open until 6 pm on Saturday. I show up at 6:10, an hour and 40 minutes before their website says they close. What kind of retail store can't get their hours straight on their own materials?

I ordered an elliptical in November 2020. It was delivered in December 2020 with damage to it. I was "promised" the repair would happen asap. Fast forward to May 2021 - repeated calls (like 15) and and I STILL have a damaged elliptical. Now they have just stopped returning my messages. Avoid, avoid, avoid this place. The absolute WORST customer service.

I when to the store in Rockville MD,I when inside the store and asked to the sell guy for a dual elliptical and recumbent and He reply to me in very bad manner, that they don't carry that type of equipment, and their equipment there where very expensive, meaning perhaps that I didn't have enough money to buy any equipment there. When I ask him why he talk to me that way,He when back and then He and other guy star to argue with me,both of them asked me to leave the store, Happen to be that this day I wasn't very well dressed, I assume, they treated me that way because the way that I looked

I purchased a stationary bike in early Spring, 2020 during Covid in Rockville, Md. The bike was set up in a flash and we have been loving it. Recently, we found out that my husband is going to need medical treatment at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore for 4-6 weeks in the Fall where we were are going to move temporarily. I emailed the company to ask if they provide moving services for my bike. They could not have been nicer. They responded immediately via email and phone and even offered to move it for free due to our circumstances. They will have my loyalty forever.

Top service and good pricing from Rockville, MD location. Dominic helped me select the perfect elliptical for my small space and quoted me a delivery date 4 weeks out, which was better than what I was able to find elsewhere. Even better, the machine was delivered and set up exactly when scheduled. Julie, the scheduler and Martin, who set up the machine were 100%.

I just tried calling the business as I live close to an hour away and I was wanting to find out what they had available and pricing. Upon answering the phone I was greeted with only a "hello" and after confirming it was supposedly fitness showrooms, I was then asked "What do you want?". Before I could even mention that I was looking at a Spirit elliptical, the man cut me off and said "out of stock until August" which I know isnt the case, as I emailed this supposed company earlier in the week and was told they have them in stock and if not, they're showing up within a couple weeks. Very shady interaction overall and instantly took my business elsewhere.EDIT: I saw that someone replied to my review from the business and I wasnt sure if I could respond directly, so I'd like to make an edit and hope that they see this. I appreciate their/your response,and I was disappointed that I had the interaction I had as I was really looking forward to purchasing from the company. Maybe have a talk with the person who was answering the phone between 4 and 6 p.m. on July 1st, and either remove them from the phone or fire them completely, as they're the reason you lost business. Worst interaction I'd had with a company so far. Again though, thank you for responding and I hope this person doesnt cost you more in lost revenue in the future.

What was almost a bad experience with Fitness Showrooms turned into a very good one for me. Because I am not going back to the gym anytime soon due to COVID-19, I purchased a home gym from the Fairfax store. We set a delivery date--and a week before the date I received a call that the equipment was not yet available at the warehouse. We rescheduled for a week later, and on the day before the rescheduled date, I spoke to the person who had called me to reschedule. She said she didn't expect the equipment in until mid-August, and would I like an upgraded model from a different manufacturer instead, which could be delivered immediately? I looked up the model on line, liked it, and agreed to the swap. The installers wore masks, were very professional, and did a great job of assembling a very complex piece of equipment (they left me a copy of the assembly instructions, and I could not have done if in a million years). I am very pleased with the equipment I received (it really was an upgrade in terms of functionality) and with the workmanship of the men who installed it. I am therefore pleased to recommend this company!

Overall very disappointing experience with this location and the Fairfax location. I purchased a full set of dumbells (2x5-100 lbs) and a bench, totaling over $4k, so not cheap. I made the purchase(and was charged) on May 27th. I received (most of) the order today, June 27th, a month later after being told it would be available the first week of June. Here are all the problems I had during this month long exchange: 1) I was told the weights would be available for pick up the first week of June. This was pushed back multiple times. They would never call me or return my emails. I had to call and ask what the status was only to be told it would be another week. 2) When I had enough and emailed the corporate email I found that the order was actually misplaced and several dumbbells only had 1x quantity. They did fix this quickly thankfully. They also provided information on why the delay was so lengthy but this was already 3 weeks into the purchase. 3) I was told I could only pick up the dumbbells from the Rockville store. I was told this once they had arrived at the Rockville store...not when I initially made the purchase from the Fairfax store and said I would pick them up. 4) I confirmed that all the dumbbells were at the Rockville store before making the lengthy drive. Upon arrival I found that the 65lb dumbbell set was missing with no indication of where it was.

Avoid working with Dominic in Rockville's showroom. Rude. Offputting hard sell without an iota of regard for what the customer wants or needs.
