Their papardi chaat is really tasty. Good place to get Indian spices and frozen food as well note you are not allowed to sit in and eat here carry out only.

This has to be the most unethical store in the entire state. I got billed 10$ for a 400gm paneer and mind boggling 5$ for a pack of maggi. It surprises me the boldness with which people operate knowing that they won’t have any consequences. Never again!!

The owner will sweet talk you into buying overpriced frozen dishes that have no expiry label on them. Most of the merchandise is overpriced. Buyer beware.

We stumbled upon this sort of accidentally and are super glad we did! The owners were so friendly! They had a ton of stuff (mostly without prices so it did limit what we bought). They had all sorts of snacks that we don't normally see, some of which were yummier than others. The owner suggested the homemade mango lassi, which I am go glad we got. That did not make it home. I downed that pretty quickly. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect. The samosas were fabulous, too! We'll be back!

Small shop but has everything! Even chaat and I also got a curry leaf plant. Will be back to pick up mithai for Diwali later this week. The family that owns it is very sweet.

I bought a bag of basmati rice at this store. I saw some tiny red bugs inside. I had to throw away, that bag cost me around $30. Next time, I will get my basmati rice at Giant.

Good for indian groceries. Store is in downtown and they also sell chat & pan. Items don't have price tag so could be difficult to figure out price but owner is very helpful and available to answer all the queries. They don't have any parking on premise which is a drawback but manageable since there is plenty of street parking on the road.

Excellent frozen Indian food; we especially enjoy the black dal, and the chicken tiki masala but everything we've had is good. The samosas are a treat. Friendly people. Not cheap, but cheaper than eating out, and a convenient flavorful alternative. Huge variety of Indian snacks. We love this store, it's a great antidote to the tedious chain of chain restaurants that now occupy Bethesda.

Cute little Indian grocery store with a great selection of ingredients and snacks. I believe it's always been the owners at the register when I've gone - they always offer to help find what you're looking for and are incredibly friendly. And definitely grab some samosas to go. I haven't gotten to try the rest of the food yet, but the samosas were yummy!

This week I visited for the first time. The gentleman was nice when I asked about a product and he took me directly to the product but as others say no prices on items and when I checked out it was almost $9 for 12oz of dried beans and a can of beans. This was way overpriced compared to other stores!!! I could have left the items but needed it for dinner so just paid the price. I did ask for receipt and I received my CC receipt but no itemized receipt was provided as I thought could I have been double charged. I also understand paying for the convenience of being less than a mile from my home to run in for these two item but don't price gouge the locals as I can go other places and do more shopping to pay less and make the trip worth my driving time. Don't forget the $.50 CC fee if less than $10 purchase but that is not the end of the world for me. That was my first time there and my last time there!

Sold me a whole bottle of Eno that expires in 5 days. Also sold me a grinder and hand wrote on the receipt that it was not refundable which should have been a sign, but after the first use the grinder had smoke coming out of it. Generally good Indian grocery store and metro accessible, but they definitely need more price transparency to not seem so shifty. Labeling prices on the products or shelves would help customers make choices and not be surprised by their bill. Unfortunately not much competition nearby, but hopefully reviews are enough to convince you to be more price transparent!
