I went there for lunch today and everything was perfect—the atmosphere, service, friendly waiters, & great food! I had the Pollo Saltado (chicken w/french fries & rice) & my work bestie had the Lengua Guisada (beef tongue w/potatoes & rice). And for dessert…Alfajores (anise cookies w/creamy dulce de leche caramel)! ?

Where’s the AJI, in the Aji de Gallina? Bland!!! $10 for a juice is crazy. Papas a la huan. was cold. Wasted money, unfortunately.

Lovely staff and fantastic food! The drinks are tasty and reflect some traditional drinks you’d get there. The shrimp dishes and duck dishes were incredible and the ceviche is some of the best in the area. Highly recommend!Parking: 100

I walked in and was drawn by the decor and atmosphere. The restaurant smelled good. The waiters were good to make recommendations as I don’t know traditional Peruvian cuisine. Recommendations were good. I felt that the appetizers were a bit overpriced for the servicing size - IMO.Besides that, I enjoyed the restaurant.

La Limena Grill is hands down my go-to spot for Peruvian cuisine in Rockville! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The food? Oh, let me tell you, it's an absolute flavor fiesta! ? Whether it's their classic Ceviche, mouthwatering Leche de Tigre, flavorful Anticuchos, perfectly fried Yucas, or the Tequenos stuffed with Lomo Saltado and Aji de Gallina, every dish is a celebration of Peruvian culinary excellence. And don't even get me started on the Panceta Crocante - crispy pork belly perfection! But what truly sets La Limena Grill apart is the attention to detail. From the specially crafted Pisco glasses to the impeccable presentation of each dish, you can tell that every aspect of the dining experience has been thoughtfully curated. So if you're in Rockville and craving authentic Peruvian flavors served with a side of warmth and hospitality, look no further than La Limena Grill. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! ?

The thing that stood out here was the service. Both the hostess and our waitress were very friendly and polite. Food came out very fast as well.My favorite was the Pescado A Lo Macho, very delicious. The fish was the best part but I was also impressed with how tender and not rubbery the squid was. I usually find the tentacle parts to be very rubbery and this was definitely not the case here. The Ceviche Mixto was very refreshing. In addition to the mixed seafood, I also liked the crunchy corn kernels with the sauce. My least favorite was the Aji de Gallina. It was very creamy and rich, but I thought ones I've had at other places had more of a kick to them and by comparison it was rather bland here.Overall, I enjoyed the experience. Very nice atmosphere and good food, although a bit pricey. Would recommend if nearby but wouldn't go too far out of the way.

We had a large party which they gladly accommodated however there should have been more preparation, we had one server who didn’t have much help. Everything just took a while including getting our checks back (20+ minutes). The food was excellent, well seasoned and well cooked!

I have gone to this place several times and the service and food has decreased every time I came in. Of course we try to give them another chance and we did for Valentines Day. We’ve gone there for special occasions and this one really topped it off! We waited for 30mins (not bad), our food took 1.5hours to come out and it wasn’t even busy. We ordered two simple steaks with rice and salad and a shrimp soup that tasted soapy. It took so long that we ended up taking our food home because we got full from drinking so much water. We asked to take some of the green sauce home and they had the nerves to charge .45 cents for each one. I declined and told them they lost a client and many more. This restaurant is not worth it and they don’t take accountability for their delays and problems. They are money hungry, better off going somewhere else. Oh and their mosquitos are nasty, so don't bother ordering it.

It's not the same as it used to be, food doesn't taste good at all, I would recommend another restaurant. It's not authentic Peruvian flavor anymore.

Absolutely delicious! Ordered tequeños, pisco sours, ají de gallina, anticuchos, picarones and milhojas. Joseph was our waiter and he was very attentive and knowledgeable. Would come again!
