I’ve seen Dr. Lyerly for many years, and I just adore him. He always remembers things I talk about, such as my boyfriend’s name and my passion for sailing, and he genuinely CARES! He's a rock star.Terri

Dr. Kehr used "cutting edge" tests that other doctors told me were not yet validated, gave me an improper diagnosis, and cost me a fortune (thousands of dollars in just a few weeks).

I can’t speak for the quality of care, but I feel that others in need/in crisis should be aware of the prices of these appointments before starting the process of getting established.A 45 minute introductory appointment, which is not covered by any insurance, is $405. They say that they are accessible as they can give you a form to request a partial reimbursement from your insurance, but in this day and age how can they expect most people to have $400 to spare for one appointment? This is not accessible health care.

Have held back over the years when it comes to reviewing this place. Dr Kehr's negligence ended up almost killing me. He was so worried about getting his license taken away he refused to fill my medication and instead told me to go to detox like an addict. Never abused my meds. He ripped me off all my meds after some gene test. Was so desperate I went along with it all not knowing what I know now. I told him forget it when it came down to 150mg of Effexor. The withdrawals were unbearable. He then put me on more medication, a cocktail. After trying to get help from him and the ER's in the area, we didn't really have a choice. No one would help us, no one would fill my script for a week until I saw the new doctor. I started having severe withdrawal. So I check in to detox not knowing what would happen. Thought I could trust them. They don't taper meds there. I wasn't given any of the Benzos I had been on for over a decade. They gave me random meds to help, but once I was gone all hell broke lose! At the time I had no clue what was going on. I was restless, couldn't sit still, had to pace the halls and neighborhood. I would have to be moving my legs. Sitting still was unbearable. I felt horrible! Years later I would learn I am suffering from Akathisia. Withdrawal Akathisia in my case has not been treatable. Having Benzo withdrawal I clearly can't go back on a Benzo. So I came home damaged and unstable and the guy wouldn't return my frantic phone calls pleading for help. I was eventually written a letter saying I should go to see his colleague. Like I was having a crisis and the guy wouldn't help me. We had to rely on the outpatient rehab they had sent me to. That's a hell story. I can't work, I'm disabled by all this. Yes, even at 5 yrs. I should have sent him the Ashton Manual and a long letter early on telling him what I was going through. I started a blog in 2019 and I talk about the care I received with Dr Kehr and how I ended up. 5 years!! Really wish I had never went to this guy for help. If you don't think this is negligence or "that bad", feel free to read more about it here: Tooshallpass13.Wordpress…Dr Carr is who I should have seen all along. The guy seems to actually care. We tried so much, even a taper off Latuda. I came to him damaged. He tried to help. He hasn't abandoned me like Kehr did. $500+ to see Kehr. Family friend recommended the guy. She was bipolar and swore Kehr was fantastic. If someone is tapering and cuts more than 10% every 2-4 weeks, there's something wrong with your doctor. You TAPER people off psych meds, not rip people off and assume the new meds will cover the side effects of being ripped off ALL my meds!!!

Please consider returning options for in person meetings. Phone calls and video calls are useful but are less effective without some face to face meetings. Feels too impersonal.

Rate Doc 10/10 Truly the best psychiatrist in the world. Dr Carr is very understanding, compassionate and is not one to prescribe medication after medication like other psychiatrists do. He listens to you and offers different solutions and other things to help you with pretty much any ailment that you have. Dr. Carr is absolutely amazing! I have referred many clients to him. They all were very satisfied. Thanks Doc

I m giving 3 Star solely for the $$$ increase for which the patients have not seen any improvements other than 15 minute slots which is sort of a joke I mean is it not? How are you all monitoring people with a time slot contingent to the time it takes to just make their prescriptions up? the egregious price increase has not led to any benefit on the patient side. If I was working at that practice with the amount of $$ coming in there I’d have people sponsoring to get their products in front of your demographic, and have the facility look much nicer, that’s what they do in other doctors offices why aren’t you doing the same? the fact that you don’t take insurance already tells most of us you’ve cut your teams job in half by not having to deal with that whole process. So truly where is the 30% increase going??? If your practice truly cared about patients - and I’m not saying that my doctor has any part in this review it’s not at all about him he gets 5 stars - this is for your whole practice and how it operates. You increase prices so people literally pay $$$ for 15 minute slots when that’s the time it takes to write a prescription! PLEASE Bring back group therapy and make it free for those of us that already pay for services. Bring the people that used to be monthly visitors and now show up once per quarter back into your practice and show that you all care. Have the front staff moderate therapy for groups twice a month - they truly are the reason a lot of us have stayed- they’re excellent. It’s really sad my brother used to come see dr care decades ago and we came there bc of this and now it’s just a $$$ business.

Dr. Carr is a very compassionate doctor. He listened to my concerns/symptoms, discussed how to proceed and asked for my input. It was so refreshing to have a doctor actually LISTEN and VALUE my input. My treatment plan was implemented based on this collaboration. Highly recommend.
