We have used the tax preparer for Rose Financial for the last 5 years or so, and have been quite disappointed. For the $5000 a year our small business pays, we expect a level of proactive advice and attention (e.g. advice on tax law changes that directly affect us; proper advice on how to structure our health insurance payments, etc). We incorporated based on the advice of the accountant, but he has repeatedly failed to help us make use of the tax advantages. The service in the last year has been shockingly inattentive. We submitted our tax documents in March, and had to really push the firm to provide returns for review by late August. We have taken our business to another firm where we are now getting the kind of advice we had hoped to get from Rose.
