I have been a customer at this location since before the current manager took over. Unfortunately, she is the worst manager I have experienced—she is rude and biased. I have been buying from someone who is also a long-time client here, and I usually store my items at this location until I have enough for a full unit.
Since she took over, she has treated some of us very poorly. Recently, when I went to rent a unit as I normally do, she refused to provide one simply because she has a personal issue with the person I buy from. She even told me that there were no units available, which was not true.
As long as she is managing this location, I will not recommend or encourage anyone to do business here.

This place's security is appallingly bad. Their gates are almost always open (this picture was taken at 4pm on a Sunday) so what's the point of having a security code?!? What makes it worse is that unlike other places that have another code to enter the building, once you are through the gate the building doors are unlocked. Also they are more expensive than other nearby places. I am moving out of here as quickly as possible.

Gisele needs to extracted from what I see. Craig used to be helpful but adding a disrespectful and racist employee seems to mess up the environment. On both ocassions while I knocked the door I was treated like a criminal as a customer. I was yelled at and repremenaded like a child.

I have never used a storage unit before so I was nervous about how everything works. Giselle was SOOO sweet and helpful. She made the entire process easy and not stressful like I thought it would be. I will recommend this storage facility to anyone just because of how wonderful Giselle’s customer service was. She deserves a raise! Thank you so much Giselle!!!

I've stored at many different locations around MoCo. They are all largely the same with the primary differentiator being customer service. Gisele who runs this location is A+, without a doubt. She's kind, patient and super friendly. Always a pleasure to interact with.

The Manager for this storage Gisele, shouldn’t be put in a front desk job. She lacks customer service skills much less you can expect her to fulfill management responsibilities like I’m reading with no surprises from other users. I had a first hand experience a few weeks ago where she disrespected me by yelling for asking a fair question and dare to comment on her impression of my person. That’s unacceptable and uncalled for. I brought this to the attention to corporate and I was expecting a better resolution from Self Storage Plus hence I waited to put on my review in hopes this place would do its job, they did nothing. If you are thinking about opening an account with them know there are other storages in the area save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. Self Storage Plus you deserve 0 stars for the treatments your paying customers are getting from your unprofessional employees.

I had a pleasure being assisted by Giselle at the Rockville location. She was very informative I knew about the different insurance plans they offer for your rented unit. As well she was knowledgeable about the units and was able to rate possible.
