I grew up going here so it makes me sad to see the quality decline. There is not a very interesting pastry selection but classics like manju and red bean bread are fine. The bogo bread which I assumed was a day old… definitely tasted like it went bad. Also only one person staffed seems a little wrong.

Was craving bingsoo so I decided to come here. This was my first time visiting the Rockville location, but I've been to the Annandale and Ellicott City locations. This is located in the Twinbrook Shopping Center--the parking lot was crowded and the spaces are narrow. There were 2 options for the bingsoo-- red bean or fruit. I decided to try the fruit and purchased a brown sugar milk tea as well. I thought both were decent. The fruit bingsoo has mango, strawberries, banana, and grapes and also cereal which I wasn't a fan of. The staff was friendly here but I'm not sure I'd go back purely because of the poor parking situation.

Bread quality was terrible. They had very tiny creams on the cream breads. Also, breads tasted dried like they've been out there for days.

I have never been to such a beautiful place, hidden but load in flavor and taste. I swear you won't ever have ginger tea again from anywhere else not their birthday cakes and my absolute fave the fruit tart, are all above and beyond delicious

Purchased a variety to take home but they doesn't seem to be freshly bake. The chocolate Madeline is crumbly & dry, pain au chocolate also doesn't seem to be freshly bake.

What counts here is the bakery products: outstanding! The interview is a little retro, but who cares? Try the almond croissant, sinfully delicious.

My go-to place for a last minute cake! I can't tell you the amount of times this bakery has saved me from buying a crummy grocery store cake! The cakes here are not only beautiful, but delicious and well-packaged! They also have beverages and a few places to sit and dine in if that's what you're looking for.

Cute Korean bakery that offers a variety of cakes and Asian breads. We got the Mammoth bread, their veggie croquette and a mocha custard bread. The Mammoth bread is a family favorite - it's soft yet crunchy on the outside, with layers of delicious cream and strawberry inside. Their veggie croquette is savory albeit slightly too oily and their mocha custard bread is a sweet treat. Service is good and everyone seems friendly!

One of the good choices if you are thinking about bakery, pastry and dessert. Shilla Bakery is Korean/Asian bakery which has a few locations around DMV. The one in Rockville seem a little tiny branch but it still has a variety breads and buns for you and enough room for seating if you want to. They also has beautiful cakes and drinks. My favorite one is a red bean bread, I am falling love with it, so delicious.Another reason that I like this place, they also offer discount pastry/bakery everyday. I think it is a good idea if you don't mind that they might not be made today. From my experience, they tasted fine even though the texture of bread/bun might not be perfectly. Also I never have any problem after that.As for their location, it is convenient, a lot of parking. The service was nice and friendly. Atmosphere inside is cozy and relax.

One of our favorite Korean bakeries in the area. They have some of the most beautiful cakes.

I picked up 6 freshly baked breads today (redbean paste filled bread, peanut flavored soboru, and sausage bread) and they were delicious! Both of the ladies working the cashier were super kind as well. ??

I haven't been here in ages but we ate at the restaurant next door, so I thought I would come by because I used to go here all the time for bingsoo. The place was quiet, so our group of 6 was able to just find a table easily. I remember they used to have many bingsoo options but now they only had two: red bean and fruit. I got the fruit bingsoo because I used to get it before too. I have to say it was disappointing and not like before :( they used to have all kind of good fruits on top of some ice cream (yogurt flavor if I remember correctly) with some toppings. Now they had probably three kind: strawberries, cantaloupe, and banana. There was no ice cream or yogurt but just plain ice with some fruits and toppings. Our group didn't even finish it. The service was good though. Staff was polite.
