Talbott Beer & Wine is absolutely the best beer and wine store in the area, considered a hidden gem and THE place for beer and wine. It is the only late night beer and wine joint in the area, with convenient and late hours, open until 1 AM. The store is located in the Talbott Center on Rockville Pike and features a safe, well-lit parking lot with more than enough parking. The store is very clean, relaxed, welcoming, and always fully stocked and organized. It offers an amazing, great, impressive, extensive, and wide selection, from rare vintage wines and premium wines to the latest craft brews and the latest Korean beers. There is a pretty large variety, including local beers, and they support local owned businesses. They also carry snacks, drinks, and a small selection of smoke supplies. A popular offering is the Build Your Own 4-pack or 6-pack of cans, which is a great way to try new beverages. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, super knowledgeable, and always ready to help. They greet customers, answer questions, and can help pair wine with food. They are known to order whatever beer a customer requests, if allowed, without jacking up the price. The service is exceptional, with staff offering to take purchases out in boxes and load your car. The prices are incredible and not too crowded, making it a great spot to explore and discover new favorites.
I love that they are open late. Not everyone works a 9-5, so it's nice that I can go to the store at 11:30pm after work to get reasonably priced beverages. They have a great selection of wines, though I wish they had more ciders, but the selection overall can't be beat for a late-night, conveniently placed beverage store.

Its the only late night beer and wine joint in the area. Great at what it does, not a spot for craft beer enthusiasts, as the staff doesn’t know anything about alcohol, I give it 5 stars on the basis its open until 1AM alone.
