The staff were friendly, helpful.Dr. Keramati was amazing; smart, efficient and spent time answering my questions. She had this unique ability of make you feel relaxed and, strangely enough, happy to be there.

I just tried to make an appointment. They have an AI-voice appointment scheduler. It said that appointments were available on the 20th and 21st, which date would I like. Whether I said the 20th or 21st, it then said no dates were available for either!! Ridiculous.

Do not go here. I went here about 8 months ago to get a new prescription and I have yet to have glasses made where I can see! It’s been a nightmare.Initially I couldn’t figure out if it was that I was given the wrong prescription or if warby Parker made a mistake when making my glasses with the prescription I got from here. But I’m pretty sure it was their mistake all along. Especially after reading all the other reviews. Make sure you read the negative reviews! I don’t know how they miraculously have all these glowing reviews. I have a feeling they pay for those. Yelp has a much more accurate picture of what this place is actually like.The previous review mentioned that she was given the wrong prescription as well so it looks like this is a pattern. I don’t understand how they’re still open. I hope the other person goes ahead and files a complain because this is too much. I know it’s not just us this is happening to.I’ve had to spend money I didn’t have in order to get another eye exam. My insurance company doesn’t cover two eye exams in a year. When I went to get a new prescription recently, it was completely different than the one I got here. I noticed there was a problem about 3 months after I got my new prescription here. I waited a bit too long to have them made at warby Parker but I didn’t know I could go back to Visionworks and get a new exam for free. I didn’t know that after three months I couldn’t get the exam for free anymore. I think that needs to change and they need to allow people to come back even if three months go by.I was also given incorrect medical information by the doctor who saw me. They took a picture of the back of my eye and she said I was bleeding. She made it sound like it was an emergency and needed to go see my ophthalmologist asap. I was super anxious and couldn’t sleep for a week. When I finally saw my ophthalmologist she said the doctor over reacted and didn’t know what she was talking about. I did need to go see her and I have developed minor bleeding but it was not an emergency like she made it sound.I don’t want to get into all the details of what happened with the prescription bc it’s even exhausting for me. There are plenty of other places in the area that accept a lot of insurance plans. I had my second exam at the eye center and I’ve had a much better experience there. Much better customer service, more professional and the doctor was better. I really am shocked this place keeps getting away with what they’re doing and they’re still open!

I was given the wrong prescription, and then was lied to in order to cover up the mistake.Visionworks has refused to give me my correct prescription in writing.The prescription I received for contacts 4 days ago, on Saturday was not correct (in fact. It was simply a copy of my 2.5 year old contact prescription from a Dr not affiliated with Visionworks). I called the next day (Sunday) to get it straightened out. The person I spoke to, unfortunately lied about why I received the wrong prescription. She said it was so I could get my old prescription refilled while they waited for me to tell them that the trial lenses were ok. Id already told the Dr the trials were great. She (the person that answered the phone) said the Dr was not in again until Tuesday, and they would call me.Tuesday late afternoon, I called because no one had reached put to me. The man I spoke to told me (in no uncertain terms) that I'd been given completely made up information Sunday, and...the Dr would not be back until Thursday.On what planet does a medical establishment give you a wrong presctiption for something YOU PUT IN YOUR EYES....then LIE ABOUT IT?Regardless of the outcome, I will be bringing a formal complaint to the Maryland Optometry Board, as well as my insurance company.To be clear, I understand mistakes are made. But instead of admitting the error, I was lied to in order to cover up the mistake.And I still have been denied a proper prescription.

The staff and Dr. were very polite and professional. And my eye exam was thorough but didn't take too long. This is my second year coming here and I paid $144 for contacts and glasses prescription with no insurance

Vision Works 11802 Rockville Pike! I have been going there for over 3 years and every time I have been well cared for. The staff and doctor are extremely courteous, patient and knowledgeable.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEI would give this store a 0 rating. No one here could explain the vision benefits, they were just money hungry, up sold me on features but didn’t go into detail on pricing. The Doctor here was a female whom was short, and very bad at communicating, she yelled for me from the back office (which is around a corner), she did not come up to get me from the waiting area. The woman doctor didn’t introduce herself, to be honest I don’t know anyone’s name here, they didn’t introduce themselves, the woman doctor was short, didn’t explain anything to me, the only question they asked was, is this your first time here, in which I said yes. I’m not going back to this location, and the messed up part is I just moved to the area. I highly recommend firing the entire staff, and starting over again. This was the most horrible appointment I ever had, the doctor was also very fast, she wouldn’t answer questions, she was very rough, and for you to be dealing with someone eyes, you shouldn’t be rough. I personally think this location needs to close for good, it’s not serving the community, and I’m not the only one whom they rush out the door after racking up $400+ charges without explaining to you what the cost of different things are.HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Whatever the word is for businesses that do a great job one year, then a really bad job the 2nd year this biz should have their picture in the dictionary by it.My wife and I both got glasses here in May '23 based on my experience previously.The exam took 10 minutes where previously it had taken at least 1/2 hour. The frames I have are falling apart so badly that I have gone back to my previous pair.My wife's lense quality was so bad we had to have them redone.There were personal problems going on with the staff and they blamed it on that.It was literally one thing after another.Totally do not recommend.

TERRIBLE customer service don’t recommend coming here! I was looking for frames for over 10 minutes and was not once offered help. The two sales associates sat down the whole time and had personal conversations totally ignored.

This is a great operation. You're guided through their process very fluidly. The front staff very polite and knowledgeable in how to make your glasses fit really well. Every doctor I have seen has been very thorough and able to solve any issues I have with my eyes. I highly recommend this store.

David, the store lead, used his personal time to correct an egregious error made by the Wheaton store. I'm sorry he felt he needed to do it, but I am happy customer of the Rockville Visionworks store as a result. Thank you, David!
