For the longest time, I have been wanting to visit Humane Thrift Together, but I didn’t get around to it until Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 after I dropped my mom off at the Metro so she could go on her business trip. From what I saw thus far, I have to say that I really love that you can get kitchen and bedroom appliances for less than $10 a piece and sometimes, if you’re lucky, you can get a bundle for a dollar, depending on what it is that you’re looking to but.As for clothes, while I can’t guarantee that you would always manage to find that perfect piece in time for an upcoming celebration or festival, all in all, compared to the prices that I’ve seen on apps like Depop and Etsy for similar clothing items, $10 for dresses of all types and $7 for jackets of all types in my opinion are very reasonable. I mean really, why the heck are gunnie sax dresses so expensive these days?So yeah, all in all, for one bundle of two sushi mats, one usable salad spinner, one authentic kaftan, and one bundle of three soft, vintage clothes hangers, I’d say that paying approximately $16.04 total was worth it.I especially like that Humane Together Thrift supports local animals so yeah, what’s not to love about this charity shop?Oh, and not to mention that the people at the register are very nice. Please everyone, give this shop a try! I promise to you all that it would be worth the visit.

Love this thrift store! Housewares are perfectly priced, and only high quality items. Clothes were a little higher priced than your average thrift store for tops and bottoms, but dresses and jackets fair priced.(tops $8, pants $8, jackets $10 and dresses $10).

Wonderfully tidy and organized thrift store - even better than its predecessor, I think. Others commented on high prices but I thought they were extremely reasonable, especially as compared to stores like Value Village. I think this is my new MoCo favorite - and for a great cause!!

Excellent thrift store. Nice selection of housewares and clothing. Impressed that they had larger sized clothes (> size 10). Very well organized.

What a wonderful place, full of great finds, and great, helpful people! Also, it's my go-to place for thrifting because it benefits the Humane Society.

This thrift store is quite large with a great variety of products like dishes, decorations, clothes, toys, and books. It's very organized and easy to see everything that is on display. I mainly go to browse and buy books, for they have a wide variety! They have multiple genres ranging from classics to contemporary fiction. The books tend to be in great condition and are usually around $2 each. I've visited this store a couple of times and bought many books for a great price. Also, the workers that I have interacted with at the store are polite. Overall, this thrift store is a personal favorite of mine due to how organized it is and the variety of books that are there for great prices!

I hope the manager or who is in charge of this establishment reads this. Unfortunately the thrift shop that we have been donating to for years closed earlier this year. We like to help animals so we that we would donate to your store . WOW!! The folks at the store we previously donated to were always helpful and thanked us for our donations. We came to your establishment Sunday. There were arrows to where to go There were no other cars and I thought we were following the arrows correctly. I GUESS WE WERE NOT!! Because as soon as I arrived at the opening, I was told I was wrong about something I still don't know what. There were two men there. One told me I did something wrong (still don't know what it was being I was at the right place and there were no other cars that could have been in their way) .He then proceeded to tell me that he was doing me a favor by taking my donation. HUH?? He didn't have to do it!! Isn't that part of his job??? When I finally said something back to him, he told me NOT TO GO THERE. I don't know what that meant, but I know where I won't be going anymore!!! I hope he is a volunteer, because if you're paying him, he should be downsized! I don't know what his problem was. We have been shopping at your place for years. Long before it moved to the bigger store. NO more!! As I am writing this I just read Patricia M's review and I guess we aren't the only one. Please get rid of him before you lose even more donations!!!!

The process for donation has become increasingly challenging for several reasons: continued construction, changing guidelines on acceptable donations, and surly staff. One staff member in particular insists that you park in precisely the orientation and location that he requires and will yell at you if you don't back in. If he doesn't feel like lifting something out, he tells you that it is not an acceptable donation, even if you have seem similar items in the store. In the past, one was thanked for donations: now you are made to feel as though you are imposing on the staff when you drop off items.

The staff is helpful and the shop has very nice merchandise. I have bought many things there, and I’m happy that the proceeds help animals.

My family and I have been shopping here for years, and we have never been treated with anything less than good manners when we have- and that is even after I got into a shouting match in the middle of the store with another customer! We actually make a visit here a priority for us when we are in the area. Not every visit reveals gold nugget, but we have found quite the number of excellent items in almost every area of the store. Our last visit was a bit surprising, however, as we were unaware of the name and locale change (manager- update your info!), but when we spotted the sign, we were glad we didn't just speed away. The photos will indicate what I was in the mood for purchasing!Always worth a stop- and not just because it is for a good cause.Never mind grouchy seniors behind the counter...

I LOVE the Humane Society. There's not a better cause to donate money or time to. Then there's the awful elderly person who works the counter at the thrift store. It pains me to leave a one star review but I absolutely cannot continue to purchase or donate.
