My husband and I have been members since 2018. You’ll never find another gym full of more passion than Exile. The owners are REAL people who want to provide a facility with everything you need to improve your health and fitness. There’s no fluff, no gimmicks. The owners and staff are GOOD people, but they are also no b.s. and will give it to you straight. Something to keep in mind when joining. A hardcore gym full of tough love, sure to push you out of your comfort zone if you’ll let them! Only good things will come from it.My husband’s powerlifting journey TOOK OFF when he joined this gym. In a world full of lunk alarms, Exile welcomes and supports all the hardcore lifters. Their barbell club specifically offers everything a powerlifter needs to train. I have nothing but good things to say. Nowhere else can compare!

Great atmosphere .Loved all the modern and vintage equipment. Multiples of everything. Which is important because one type one brand does not fit everyone. The pieces that work the best for you are in there. Only visited once will return. If I didn't live so far away I would be a member.

I love this place, I've been a member for 3 months now and it's just perfect. Athmosphere is really good and the best part is they only play metal music so if your headphones are dead they gotchu covered. They have evey single equipment you can think of and they also have a dedicated heavy lifting area for fellow power lifters, each area is also dedicated to a certain body part so if you're doing your chest workout your next excersize is probably 2 or 3 steps away lol. And they have 2 cute dogs patroling around the gym it really feels like home and huge thanks to the lady who says hi all the time it's nice to see a friendly face too. I don't see myself in any other gym unless I move to a different state. Thank you Exile.

This is the best gym on the east coast and I’ve been to all of them. I love Bev Francis, DMV, Super Gym but the equipment is the best by far (great combo of old and new vintage), great people, great staff, and a motivating environment. Bev Francis might be more motivating but this place is soo big and has soo much equipment you never have to wait. And they continue to add more and more pieces and make improvements. I wish we had something like this in Philly. Bob, if you are reading and looking for a partner we got you!

One of the best gyms I have ever been to. From the size, the equipment, and the people...you'll be hard pressed to find another gym that provides an unforgettable experience like Exile Fitness. As a gym manager myself, this is the kind of place we aspire to be like. Could not recommend a better place to lift. 100% worth the trip if you can make it out here.

Haven't ever been to this gym but I thoroughly enjoyed watching the owner and his gym goers destroy Will Tennyson and Alex Eubank in numerous weight lifting challenges. Seems like a really great environment. Big shout out to the owner being so personable and pushing his guys to do their best. If the youtube video is anything to go by you will get super human level strong here.

The powerlifting area in general make it worth it. I also love using the functional fitness area upstairs that’s equipped with MMA style machines and punching bags

Love the place. Amazing staff. Enormous variety of equipment. Lots of cool fellow members, too. My only gripe is the small mens' locker room. Not a very large changing area and it tends to get cluttered with fellow members who are either shooting the breeze or posing in the mirror and taking pictures. Other than that, best gym in MD, hands down!
