I recently purchased a Samsung microwave from Home Depot in Rosedale. I make all my purchases from this store and have never had any issues. The sales associate who helped me make the purchase advise me I had 90 days to purchase an extended warranty on the microwave if I wanted to. Here we are two weeks later I go to Home Depot to purchase a warranty and I was advised the button on the screen is grayed out, and they cannot add it. I did not purchase the warranty at the time of purchase cause I did not want to charge it on my credit card and preferred to pay for a warranty cash. The cashier just continuously said there’s nothing she can do and when I asked her for a manager she called someone on the phone Who was unable to assist her and advised her to call someone else. I spent over an hour on my lunch break trying to purchase a warranty that should’ve just took a matter of minutes. Now I have to go back after work and try to get another manager and see what we can do. I came back to work and looked it up online and I am able to see. I’m entitled to purchase a warranty within 90 days feeling very aggravated then I have to go back back-and-forth to Home Depot. Try to make a quick run That was my lunch break and now I have to go back after work

Why is it that every time I go to this particular store when I come out some approaches me and asks for money??
Not a job or if i know who's hiring
Straight up like I should reach in my pocket and andgive them something
I've adapted to just saying sorry I don't carry cash this is Baltimore. Sad times we live in
Can't even shop because of unwanted contact. Where is security? They're inside waiting on someone to skip scan a box of copper wire.

I’m a real estate investor who renovates distressed properties. I have been an excellent customer that spends lots of money at Home Depot. I needed to return some extra hinges I purchased for a property I am working on. On 7/28/25 I traveled to this Home Depot and it was a disaster. The store was dirty and unorganized. I went to the return counter and I approached the employee to return the hinges. She ignored me at first, then she received a phone call and continued to ignore me for an extended time. I waited and waited as she appeared to now be intentionally taking her time on the phone and her conversation did not even make sense. She went on and on in what appeared to be an imaginary conversation designed to annoy me as I waited and waited. There was absolutely no excuse she could not do both things at the once or place her caller on hold. She was the only employee that was working the return line and her conversation just went on and on while a long line of customers formed. This call that I had to wait all this time for occurred after I was at the front of the line and it was my turn to be helped.
After she finally refunded my money, I went to purchase a gallon of joint compound and since the store was so dirty and unorganized, with nasty employees I went to the checkout instead of making probably around 10k in purchase for apppliances, flooring, paint for the home I am renovating in Baltimore City. I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for so long and was shocked that KYLE NEMEC the store manager listed on the receipt has allowed this Home Depot location to be so mismanaged that Home Depot corporate should be embarrassed. In addition to home renovation my business American Investment and Consulting does advertising and marketing and I will make it a priority to make sure all of my business contacts and public knows about this Home Depot location and its problems.
The store is so dishonest and shady that the self checkout machine appears to be rigged so it frequently cause card read errors.
I received a card read error message on the machine and I was told by the employee that monitors the self checkout that there is a problem with the machine. The employee then takes my CREDIT CARD without my permission and looks at the number on the card. He then puts the my CREDIT CARD in the machine that I never gave him permission to touch and places in the machine and the transaction goes though.
This scam is popular in the Baltimore area in which dishonest employees tamper with credit machines and then use that as an excuse to see the customers cards. They often have hidden cameras too.
I will be forwarding this complaint to Home Depot corporate along with many more details about how horrific this Home Depot and its management are.
Me and businesses will BOYCOTT Home Depot and I will encourage others to do the same until this very serious matter is resolved.
This incident occurred at the Home Depot in Rosedale on 7/28/25 at approximately 7 am.

This store rocks customer service and integrity. I was shoppimg in the plumbung aisles when inadvertently, I set my phone on a shelf and left it as I navigated the plumbing dept. Finally, noticed not having my phone one aisle over, Gregg, plumbing rep, comes around the corner with my phone in his hands. He was looking for me to return it!!!! After thanking him profusely, he asked if I needed any additional help. I did with what should have been simple plumbing fix, I managed to botch up. Showed him pics of what I had done so far he didn't skip a beat with a remedy showimg me how to use a shark bite removal tool. Might not seem like much to the multitude of contactors that shop there but to this gal, it meant the world to have had the pleasure of crossing paths with this rep. Thank you!
