The shop built my period correct 283 small block with a 4 deuce manifold and 4 Stromberg 97’s . Runs beautiful and ended up really period correct. Great shop with great communication.

Amazing team of knowledgeable owners and complete staff. All machine work on my 1968 Pontiac 350 engine, other small block Ford 302 several years ago. I am going to pull my Toyota 5SFE engine in my MR2 to have them machine it. Judy, Richard, Danny and others gave me so many teaching moments to restart my engine building days from 4 decades ago! What a joy it was to bring my 1968 Pontiac convertible by for the team to see it running perfectly! JB is known throughout the region for their expertise and integrity.

I had them check out my Subaru head. They deburred the journals, polished it, and check the clearances. They were real busy but squeezed me in quickly for a good price. Thank you!

If you own a Honda look else where. This is my second time with this shop and never seem to get anything right. Installed my valve guides and cracked my cylinder head from a b16. Been chasing a coolant leak for some time and finally found the issue. Thank god my block is ok. The last motor I had them due my head and ended up dropping a valve because the valve lash was way to tight. Idk why I went back. Lesson learned the hard way costed be almost 10k total on repairs between both motors. These people have no clue on 4 cylinder Hondas engines. Complete trash and waste of time.

Gathering information at this point. Judy is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every question with confidence, and I have a lot of questions. I have zero experience with engine rebuilding/overhauling and I like to know exactly what I am getting in to. JB's is the place to use.

They won't stand behind their work when they know they put the Three-year-old lifters in a brand new motor and expect them not to fail.. Check the parts in your motor and then try to blame you for everything that goes wrong... They have no problem taking your money to pay the bill it's a shame if their father knew this this was going on he Shut them all down

Took them a couple of Crusader Marine heads. One was in bad shape with broken exhaust bolds and pieces of the manifold fused to the head. They squred them away -- did what they said they would and to top it off they were pleasant to deal with! Much appreciated.

JB's just rebuilt two Crusader 7.4L xli heads for me. The experience was excellent. It is a pleasure to work with a well-run business; that rarely happens in marine repairs! I highly recommend them.
