“The day before Thanksgiving I came to Carney Tire with a damaged tire hoping to get it replaced before my holiday travel plans the next day. Paul, a service associate explained that they were busy but if I left the tire with them they would do their best to make the repair by closing. I received a call around 4:30 advising that the repair was complete, they installed the tire and I was pleased to continue my travel plans on four good tires and the spare in the trunk. I’m grateful to Paul and his staff for making my minor repair a priority during a busy holiday eve.

one that told me to go to them. The people are great and they will take the time to explain any issues and make sure you understand what needs to be done. I still approve of Wells. My son now takes his truck there, so three generations.”
“Nothing but positive things to say about Gary and his team. These guys treated me fairly and didn’t try to upsell me on anything else I didn’t need. I’ve been in to have work done 3 times over the past few months and each time it went well. All work was done when promised and at the original estimate. They quick to get you in, quick to diagnose and quick to get you out.
After my first experience I knew these guys were cool. The first time I took it in was right after I arrived in Md. I was hearing a loud clanking noise underneath and wasn’t sure what it was. Gary told me bring it in next morning and they would check it out. I did and the mechanic looked it over. He tightened up something that was loose and said you good to go. Gary didn’t even charge me. Who does that anymore? This issue cost them a little time and money but they helped me out in a pinch and I appreciated it.
Needless to say I had no reserves about bringing it back to them for my other two issues. I just don’t let anyone work on my old Lexus but they earned my trust. They are my first go to now.”
“These guys are great. I had squeaky brakes and another shop quoted me at $1100 because they said I needed new brakes, rotors, calipers, piston press etc… I took my car here and they said the brakes were fine they just needed some lubricant and minor adjustments. Haven’t heard any squeaking since and saved around $1000. This shop’s honesty is refreshing in a world where everyone is just trying to squeeze every penny they can out of you. Highly recommend.”

Would’ve given 5 stars if it wasn’t for me waiting for a while after having to reschedule my original appointment but they seemed busy and its the holiday season. Will definitely return for other services.”
“I have to give full marks to Frank Whay. He successfully diagnosed and FIXED a long standing electrical issue with my 2006 Chevy van. I was at the point of getting rid of the vehicle. “Great place to go for regular services an inspections. I’ve been here several times and had good experiences each time.
One thing I appreciate, I’m always made aware of anything the techs notice that may need service, but they’re never pushy about getting the follow up sale (if they even ask).
Be wary of those who had “bad” inspections. My first service here was an inspection and there were no issues. Plenty of people come with beat-up vehicles and are upset to hear they need repairs to pass.”

Ms. Phyllis is truly exemplary in her role at the front desk. Even when faced with difficult or impatient customers, she remains calm, kind, and accommodating. She carries herself like a caring but firm mom who keeps everything running smoothly. Her professionalism and warmth make a stressful situation much easier for customers.
I would also like to give an honorable mention to Trey. He is consistently helpful and knowledgeable. Even during busy periods, he takes the time to explain what’s going on, answers questions clearly, and provides solid recommendations. That level of customer care does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.
Overall, the team does an excellent job. I would encourage customers to please be patient—this is a tire center, not a fast-food counter, and quality service takes time. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to consider adding at least one more staff member to handle phone calls during peak hours.
