If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never thought I would be discriminated against in 2024, but I was on Christmas Day by the owner. Not selling to me when I had my identification and the person I was with did not is just prejudice, when you dont ask customers that come after me if they have other people with them and for their identification. I ask for the Maryland law that states that she has to check everyone’s identification beyond the person purchasing and she could not state because it simply does not exist nor is it a legal requirement. It was not an open container of alcohol, we are not being served at a restaurant, to determine he’s consuming alcohol with me. She just simply did not want to sell to me, it’s sad in today’s world there’s still people like this and I will never step foot in this establishment ever again BEWARE!!!

This was a great store to stumble upon at the beginning of our vacation. Great selection of wines, beer, and liquor I had not see before. The gentleman running the store was very nice and gave us some great spots to check out regarding food. I can't say I don't love supporting a locally owned store either. I definitely recommend stopping here and we will be again on our next trip. Thanks again the Calvert's.
