In a historic town like St.M's what could be more fitting than an antique shop? You will not be disappointed in exploring the nooks and crannies of this shop. Many unique and interesting finds. The staff was so friendly and shared stories of items just for the shear pleasure of story telling. Don't be surprised if you walk out with a treasure.

While in St. Michaels, my husband and I popped into this wonderful antique store, Antiques on Talbot. We ended up spending a long time there looking around at the many wonderful and varied antiques. We had a lovely chat with one of the owners, and learned a great deal about various types of antiques, such as oyster cans and plates. We had a delightful time and will be back!

Bottom Line: A cute store with nice antiques and helpful employees. I'm not a huge fan of antiques but I love Americana so occasionally I like to pick up an interesting piece to display in my home. What I liked about this particular store was the focus on antiques relevant to the Chesapeake region like Oyster plates and buoys. I was eyeing up the oyster cans and the owner, I presume, was kind enough to give me a little education on them. This is a neat store on the main drag of St. Michael's and definitely worth a gander.
