Halo Bargain Center is a wonderful Christian-based thrift store and a great resource in the community. It is described as the best thrift store, with friendly people, awesome finds, and superb, very inexpensive prices. Everything is priced perfectly and is the cheapest around, with clothing at a fixed low price and furniture also very inexpensive. The store has a great and amazing selection, including women's clothes, furniture, household items, kitchen equipment, books, and electronics. New items arrive every day. The store is set up well and is a great place for someone getting started in a first apartment. It is better than other thrift stores, with everything staying in the community. The proceeds help the homeless and those in need, as the organization gives out vouchers and runs a shelter. Reusing items is great for the environment, and the money goes directly back into the community. This is a great organization for many reasons and puts a whole different meaning to 'shop local'.
Love HALO! Always very pleasant staff and yes, you have to look/dig through the racks but they have very good finds. Prices stay consistent even with public inflation, social media popularity of items, etc.

Don't let the plain exterior fool you, there are plenty of knick knacks, pictures and kitchen goods inside. It is neat and well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. I do wish the parking lot was improved or paved.
