My wife and I are not into allot of Jewelry but we do need repairs occasionally. Ken and his wife are always so helpful and we are treated as if we are their biggest customers. I’ve known them now for over 30 years and we would never go anywhere else for Jewelry or repairs.

The people here are AWFUL! Extremely rude and condescending and not the least bit helpful. I purchased an appraisal. When I came to pick it up the information on the formally printed appraisal was crossed out in pen with new info hand written on top of the official appraisal info. When I told them my insurance company wouldn’t accept that they said to deal with it and would not fix the appraisal or refund my $70. They are complete garbage. Do not trust them!!!

Highly recommend, very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the characteristics of diamonds. He does exceptional work in designing and creating fine jewelry. Very fairly priced and just great guy to deal with.

I bought my fiance's custom engagement ring from here. I first went in on a Saturday, Ken told me they were going on vacation for a week and would call me upon returning. 2 weeks went by and no call, so I went back in. Ken claimed he was going to call me later that day, so I let it slide. He walked me through the process of making a custom ring and told me I would be the one to get to choose which diamonds would sit in the ring. He also told me I would have the chance to approve the design before the ring was actually made, and said he would call within 10 days to come back in and approve the design. Again, more than 2 weeks went by, so I decided to stop in again. Ken said the ring was already being made and said he would email me the design to look at. I was unhappy because I had not even seen the design yet. Later that day, he emailed the ring design and it was not exactly what I wanted, however, it was close enough that they were able to make the changes that I requested. Ken said the ring would be about 2 weeks until it came in and I would have it in hand. A little over 2 weeks later, he calls and says the ring was in. I went in later that day, expecting to pick out the diamonds, since that is what I was told, however, the diamonds were already set. Not a big deal because I don't know much about diamonds anyway, I was just yet again disappointed. Fast forward 6 months and it's time to get a wedding band. I chose to go back to Ken again because I want an exact custom match for the engagement ring. I went in on a Saturday again, Ken told me he needed to do some research on the engagement ring he would call me on Monday with a ballpark price for the wedding band. Monday comes and no call from Ken. The rest of the week goes by, and still no call. Finally a week and a half later, Ken calls on the following Tuesday. I was not able to answer, so he left a voicemail. In the voicemail, he stated that he found a note on his desk to call me back and could not remember why. So I obviously knew he had not done the research on the engagement ring, and thus would not yet have a price for the wedding band. I did not call back, and I will be going elsewhere for my fiance's wedding band. The most disappointing part about the whole process was that every single time I went in to the store, Ken, nor his wife knew who I was, despite the fact of how many times I had already been in and despite how much I paid for the engagement ring. That is just not what I would expect from such a small business, which normally have more of a homey feel. Overall, the poor customer service far outweighs the quality of the product, and I would recommend going elsewhere.

I must have called on a bad day or something. Madeleine took the call, was snappy and rude while we were talking, I was pleasantly asking questions, then suddenly she muttered something to someone behind her and slammed down the phone. I tried calling back, went straight to voicemail. This is not how you treat a potential business associate and no way to treat another human being. Its sad that kindness has escaped most peoples sense of common decency, these days.

I was told by another jeweler in town that my wedding ring could not be fixed. I then took it to Ken to get a second opinion. He not only was able to fix my ring but it was completed in less then 5 days! I could not be happier with the results! Highly recommend him!
