Feb 27, 2023 I made a purchase of a storm door to be installed. TWO WEEKS after that purchase 'someone came out to measure my door' APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK after that, I received a call from ANOTHER Lowes customer stating measurements had to be taken again. In which my security camera did see. Then TWO weeks Later..I got a call 2x from someone named ANNA Lowes customer for me to contact them in regards to scheduling a installation dated. I am employed as a Correctional Officer so for three days I was working double shifts ( 7A-11P ). When I finally got a chance to call at the beginning of their stated work hours..it literally took 2 hours to get through to the number provided ( that was very frustrating )..why call you ' if your NOT ANSWERING! The next day I finally got through after calling for (1) hour...Today is March 17, I was reassured they ( the installation team ) would be here between 2P-5p ( it's after that designated time ) no one called stated they would be late or whatever ....oops door bell just wrong ....it's them gheeez @520PM Update: The Job was done well! The project process is ( was ) very time consuming but it finally got completed ( mission accomplished ) Thanks Lowes

Lowes is no longer the store to go to for lights etc for the home. Used to b a great store to get things for home improvements. I went Monday to get a light fixture & asked 2 different people for help each employee knew nothing & would call someone. After an hour with no help I left. Silly me went back next day 3 lowes employees standing together talking & I asked lady to help & very very nice she did but admitted she knew nothing about fixtures. Said kid in next day but knew nothing. & doubted he would know. They r reducing hours to get people to leave to hire part time with low pay no benefits & no knowledge!! Left went to Home Depot waited right & helped to walk out with $300 fixture. Shame on lowes & don't go.

I ordered a new fridge about 2 weeks ago, it took a week for the first one to come. The first one came severely dented and it was unable to be used. They sent another one out about 3 days later and it was also severely dented. It's been another week and they said it was coming today but it never did.

Very, very a disappointing. Approached cashier and requested assistance in hardware aisle, As we approached her she did not read myself nor my grandson no hint of kindness or service availability. Returned to aisle 18 and awaited service assistance for 11 minutes with no response at all. My grandson and I then went in search of a Ruler. Luckily we found a very nice tape measure waiting to be stolen, Lying on top of a set of tools. We borrowed said tape measure long enough to measure hardware needed unfortunately we had to borrow some of the other products surrounding the hardware, Since I could not physically reach the products without knocking them off the rung. My grandson and I proceeded to self checkout. No one Ever greeted us or showed a modicum of courtesy. The ONLY reason I continued to spend $80.00 dollars is because I Didn't want to start process over at Home Depot. My Father used to call Lowe's "Slows", Because it either took forever to get service or get checked out. I am disappointed to see little has changed. By the way, we returned the unattended tape measure on top of tool display where we found it.

We recently purchased a chain-link fence from Lowes. The process has been a nightmare. It has taken 3 deliveries to complete our material list. The Sales Person, Jerry Bowden, was not responsive when the first delivery came with missing items. Nor was he helpful when the second delivery came (which came unapproved while we were not home). The 3rd we found was needed during the install,as there were still items missing. The contractor then placed the order for these items, and installed them 11 days later. Of the items left over from the install, some were estimated more than 20% higher than what was needed (the contract states 10% overage allowed) Our contract was signed on 04/18/18 with an estimated completion date of 05/30/18. Our initial installation date was 6/15/18. With missing parts and errors from the installer, our installation is still not complete on today 06/24/18. Onto the installer- Rico Repair & Installation Co 410-726-4600... First, they used a gas powered auger and dug right over-top a spray paint line marking our Comcast service. Our line was completely cut and we waited more than 24 hours for service to be repaired. Second, our installer has not followed the sketches and is more than 3 feet off of the property line in one location (plans call for 12 inches). The property lines are clearly marked and were shown to the installer and Lowes sales person. Third, they have not leveled the top bar of the fence. Visually is looks terrible. Measurements from ground to the top of the line post varies 3 inches from post to post. We are not sure they used a level or tape measure. (we have diagrams to show measurements). It seems the contractor was more worried about rushing to finish in 1 day than having to come back a second day. After the first day of installation, the contractor claims to have brought 20 bags of concrete of his own. Then his helper chimed in and claimed "only 12". When questioned about the concrete and not telling anyone upfront he brought his own, the contractor then became offended. He then proceeded to verbally attack and yell at my girlfriend. To prevent further altercation we let him take 12 extra bags of concrete. There were also extra bolts and other hardware we believe the contractor has taken without permision. The contractor also suggested that we should go to Lowes ourselves and pick up the missing items for him to complete the job, because it "is not his responsibility". Then stated he had galvanized parts to use and to "just let him spray paint them to finish the job." After the mishaps with deliveries, we were really hoping to have a smooth process with the installation. It has been even worse... The lack of communication has been alarming. Between Lowes management and our Installation rep Michael McDonald no one has given a definitive answer as to when our fence will be fixed according to the drawings. After raising concerns of the installation to Michael we have not heard from him for over 7 days. Dale Curtis, Local Salisbury MD Lowes Assistant Manager has also been less than cooperative. After Dale gave an inspection of our installation, 06/21/18, there was no definitive answer or date for the contractor to come and fix the issues at hand. Since then there has been one conversation with Dale where he claims to be waiting for management. I'm posting this to raise awareness of the carelessness Lowes Installation Services shows it's customers. I would also like to bring attention to the contractors they hire. If you are looking for a fence or fence installation make sure to do your diligence and read the reviews. Wish I had...

Whenever I come here I am always greeted by someone within 5mins, asking if I need help. Most everything is in stock or they offer to order whatever I need. Haven't came in here with things being disorderly or the bathrooms dirty. They price match and give military discounts which is nice. Love some of their discounts and some of their clearance items, fairly easy to find.

I live in Maryland and have tried repeatedly to get an answer on when a fence that I signed a contract for and paid in full the middle of July will be installed. It has become a vicious cycle of being referred to the same phone numbers over & over again with zero resolution. I have been told repeatedly that the installer will call me this day or that day and they have never called me. I was able to obtain the phone number for the installer today and they called me & left a message that they don't have the required permits to complete the for because they are in Delaware & the work is being done in Maryland. I have to wonder why the Lowes in Salisbury, Md., would have out of state installers who claim that it will be a few weeks until they have the permits. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of follow up on the part of Lowes. Customer Service is not a priority, for sure. The only time that I was repeatedly called or contacted in regards to my fence installation was by the salesman who wrote up the contract and called & texted me several times in one day to get the CID# off my card, so that they could deduct the amount of the sale from my bank account.

Visited the store's Paint Dept.... asked the sales rep a question and got a nasty no help reply.... the question was to know where a certain paint product was... the reply was loud and rude that you need to wait until I finish and to go stand in line.. there was no line and the question takes one second... the person got louder and putting on a fit. Dealt with the Paint Dept before.... nice and knowledgable and friendly.... today it was not. I am avoiding that area in the future.... buy my paint else where. Sad :(

My husband and I needed new faucets, drawer slides and paint for our kitchen remodel, and Mahmood, the sales associate who helped us with all of these items, was very courteous and knowledgeable. A couple of weeks earlier, we bought a new sink for the project, and the sales associate (I forgot his name now), was also very helpful. We were very impressed with the pleasant and personable sales staff at Lowe's. Thank you.

Just went in to check out the ceiling fans and lights section. The store was neat, organized and well-staffed. I am glad that I didn't require any assistance as no one said anything to me until I was leaving, but at least she was courteous and wished me a good day.

I must say the only reason I gave them one Star is because that's the only option. If you don't feel like reading all of it just do yourself a favor and drive to lowes in Seaford Delaware which there is also no sales tax in DE. I had a full bathroom on carts, $3000 worth of merchandise. I waited for 50 minutes for someone to help me look at a bathroom vanity, their Plumbing Pro said they didn't have it which I understand and I asked if any of the other stores had it then they proceeded to tell me "No Lowes at all had it" and it would be three weeks before they would get a 48 inch vanity in. They never even went to the computer or called any other stores ???? They just said no and walked away from us and we were like "Hey is that it? You're not going to help us?" and he said "We don't have anything so we can't do anything for you". So I called Seaford Delaware Lowe's and they had exactly what I needed. It was like pulling teeth to try and get someone to help you. Whoever the store manager is at Salisbury lowe's is doing a crappy job hiring people!
