This is a typical Michael's store. We went mainly to see the Christmas decorations- they were in the process of putting things out, so there wasn't as much to see as we hoped. However, the staff was friendly, the store was neat and the lines moved quickly. There was a nice display area that advertised items on sale and upcoming classes.

I've paid a few visits to my local Michael's these past few months to help out with my nuptuals. First, I bought a bunch of frames for my engagement portraits to display at home and to give as gifts. They have a huge selection, and they often have a 50% off sale (watch for the flyers!) Next, I bought a make-at-home invitation kit. I would recommend using these if you have a small wedding and a decent printer. They have a really nice selection at Michael's. I also bought make-at-home programs -- again, good selection. The only other item I purchased there was ribbon for my centerpieces. They have lots of other wedding items (favors, etc.), but you can get most of these cheaper online. A great store for the art/craft enthusiast. Huge selection, but it's easy to get lost. In other words, it can be hard to find something simple, like white glue. Service is similar to other big box stores. Not bad, but nothing particularly great about it.
