My dad brought his truck there for transmission work. It’s an older model and we understand it has problems. They fixed it fine until a few days later the hose clamp slipped loose due to it being improperly attached and tightened. Luckily we caught the issue before too late.
My dad brought the truck back explained the issue and how they failed to properly attached the hose.
They then tried to charge him $140 to attach a clamp that they failed to attach correctly. Then when my dad mentioned that and then Larry refused to work on it.
It’s a shame they tried to charge a 68 year old man on social security for something they failed to do correctly the first time.
Another crooked mechanic.

Worst place ever DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS My Cadillac Escalade was towed there and I received it back with a broken back window completely out and it ran through if you don't want your property damaged and no they will not take responsibility for the damage unless you have a good attorney don't use this service

After being almost ripped off so many times at other shops with my 2016 civic, I had to go elsewhere. This place stayed true to their words and only did what truly needed to be done on my vehicle. They did say I need some more work done (didn’t do it because no authorization for it today) and explained exactly why it needs to be done as well as upfront pricing. I will be back and recommend others give it a try!

On the way down to move our daughter into SU last week, the car she’ll be keeping on campus had the check engine light come on. I read the code with our scanner, and realized it was something we shouldn’t ignore for long. Not wanting to mess with taking the car back home, I started looking around for repair shops. Turns out that Salisbury Auto Repair and Transmission is a short walk from campus (important since I knew she’d need to leave the car there and go back to SU). Gloria at Salisbury Auto was awesome, and I really felt comfortable sending my daughter (and the car) there. Unfortunately, fixing the car will involve a body control module reprogram, which has to be done by a dealership. Salisbury Auto did not charge for the diagnostic though, and even made a recommendation on which dealership to use. We’ll definitely use Salisbury Auto Repair and Transmission for any car problems or maintenance while our daughter is at SU.

I had terrible experience at this place on 08/21/2023.I just needed to replace 6 spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter and alternator belt for my Toyota Highlander.For the replacement of this 4 simple things, the manager Gloria Holyak charged me 544.72$ labor!!!!!Just for the 6 spark plugs(cost 95.88$) and air filter(cost 30.58$), she charged me 380.04$ labor!!!!!Gloria Holyak charged me in total 869.15$ for this 4 simple things and because I paid with card she charged me 3% fee of 26.07$.I will never go tothis place again.

I'm terrible with names but whoever works at the front desk and answers phones and everything should get a raise because she is absolutely so kind! Love her. Was super helpful with all my questions and responded so fast. Will always recommend this place.

GLORIA IS AMAZING!!! You will miss out if you go anywhere else to get your car fixed instead of coming here. The service is quick, the staff is so genuine and nice, and this is the only mechanic i’ve ever been to that truly puts the customer before the paycheck. I got my oil changed for $40 when everywhere else would only do $150+! I cannot believe I was lucky enough to stumble across such a rare gem; especially since i’m a student and money is tight. This is the place to be for any of your car needs! :)Services: Oil change

I can not say enough good things about this repair shop. My daughter is a Freshman at Salisbury University and was having car problems. We scheduled an appt today for her (we are 8 hours away) and everything about the visit was perfect. Gloria made my daughter feel so comfortable and safe. Talked to her like she’s known her for years. This shop truly is honest and is just there to help. We will DEFINITELY be back again if we need car repairs.Service: Transmission

BEWARE!!!!Been here three times. They got me right in and did what they said they were going to do. However the diagnosis was incorrect and the cheap parts they mark up and put on tore right back up. I spent $2500 here in two weeks just to have my truck towed into the dealer for them to preform the same work with better quality parts. I called back in and spoke with Gloria and she wanted me to bring the truck back up there and they would replace the parts again. Yea right! They have broke my trust and now I just want people to beware. They are nice up there and all but don’t trust them with your vehicle. Take it to the dealership! I’m assuming Larry needs a brush up on his mechanic skills. Oh btw they won’t even give me any of my money back. I tried to take them their cheap parts back and just get the money back for them however she wouldn’t give me any type of refund. I am contacting the BBB as well.

our company truck broke down and we were 12 hours from our destination. they got us a new transmission at a very reasonable price and were pleasant to do business with. they were very knowledgable and proffessional. thanks a million.
