Save A Lot is just that. I run into this store when I am visiting in the neighborhood. There is always bargains. I buy fresh vegetables, fish, and steak sometimes. They have plenty of fresh bake cakes that are delicious. I like the clerks at the store. They are helpful if I do not know where something is locate.

They always have a few good deals worth stopping in for. Some of the items are just as pricey as other stores though.

I don't know why ANYONE would continue going there if they didn't have to. This place was an absolute mess. A lot of the stock was depleted or, in the case of perimeter foods, looked inedible at best. There were empty (usually??) boxes strewn throughout the store. No one who worked there, whom we encountered, was the least bit friendly to us. We were treated like outsiders. The prices weren't even that good, even their "sale" prices! I could spend less at Food Lion every single day of the week!!
