One star just to review. This Sephora location inside Kohl'shas been open for a few months now. Please note that this is not a review of the Kohl's store in anyway! Employees are great there, pleasant and friendly. I don't always have to write a review that is just a -5 in rating. But this is my honest experience that happened to me on Saturday, 12/2/2024. I was in the Kohls store to pick up an order and had a Sephora online purchase which arrived damaged. I needed to return to the Sephora shop. I approached the two associates behind the counter and explained the package arrived damaged and needed to be returned/ exchanged. The one associate tried to but the register wouldn't allow her to. She was going to get a manager to assist. The other "part time associate" Beth said no you cannot return this item even if it came damaged "we didn't mail it"! After trying to explain to her that I understand no return on the gift box of samples but it arrived damaged ( the box was crushed and it was a Xmas gift). Meanwhile the other associate went to get a Kohl's manager to help. I said to Beth, "what if you received a damaged item that was a gift"? While with her face turned to an associate from kohl's who stopped to chat with her she said for me to deal with it! I still cannot believe she had the nerve to then continue to tell me to "Just make do with it. This is America"! And then turned her back to me. WTF??? Can you imagine if I had something other than a North Jersey accent. We went to the front of store to wait for the manager. The other associate came in with a Kohls manager who immediately said it's damaged just do a return or do you have the item in the store. I proceeded to tell her what I had experienced. She said she would have it addressed and apologized for Beth's treatment of us. They did have the item so the damaged one was replaced. Just from this experience I really don't want to shop at that Sephora store anymore. It is a 45 minute ride from me and in the next state over. I will drive the hour to go another. Best of luck in your future pursuit of a retail career!

I went in on a mission with a budget. I was helped by the beauty consultant named Beth. She was so incredibly helpful and mindful of my budget. I have not used concealer before so she applied a tester on me and helped me find my color. I used it for the wedding I was in and blown away! She also helped me find the perfect eyelash glue and and lashes and to my surprise they held up for 8 hours even through the happy tears! Thank you Beth for your professionalism, helpfulness and kindness! Sephora is lucky to have an employee like Beth!

I was so excited when Sephora opened. Now I’m so disappointed, I can’t believe that there’s only one associate. I had to wait more than 20 min to pay, while she was just walking around. Besides that, could not find any of the products I was looking for.

You will be constantly harassed by employees to the point you can’t concentrate on what your looking for....I get offering help but ask me once and leave me a lone! Also they are sold out of everything all the time. Just order online.
