“This store tends to have a lot of seasonal items for cheap, which is great. I have bought a lot of stickers, cards and other similar items. They also have cheap closeout CD's and DVD's, which I have found a few for our collection. However the average stock level and organization has been going down recently, compared to other Dollar Trees. The last time I went there were a bunch of stock carts blocking the aisles, and they had almost no household chemicals or medicine on the shelves. This place can be a good option for some things but don't count on them to have everything out on the shelves.”
“I LOVE THIS DOLLAR TREE I DRIVE ALL THE WAY FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN JUST TO COME TO THIS PARTICULAR ONE. THEY ARE ALWAYS FULLY STOCKED UP ON EVERYTHING EVEN THERE FOOD SECTIONS HAVE GREAT OPTIONS. I WILL ALWAYS TAKE THIS DRIVE AS LONG AS IT STAYS THIS WAY AND ITS VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED NOT ALL RAN THROUGH LIKE MOST OF THE OTHER LOCATIONS.”

“So this is my favorite Dollar Tree in the area, they are usually always fully stocked. Lately the lines have been extremely long could be staffing issues. But the only reason I am writing a review is because of Tamika. If you go there in the morning you will be greeted by her warmth and care. Even though the line was long this morning, once I realized she was the cashier, my attitude subsided ?. She always takes care of the customer, she should teach classes about customer service”

“Very helpful, needed to run out and pick up my pup some more food and the shelves were a little low, store service guy informed me that there were some more in the back and escorted me back there and there was my pups favorite food and I got two bags, above and beyond, thank you Family Dollar”
“Excellent customer service. Store merchandise stocked neatly and organized. Further, no OSHA issues, like some stores that have inventory/ boxes all over the store including doors. It was a clean store.
Most of all, thanks to Anthony, I was able to locate an item and purchase within a few minutes. This guy also greeted customers with a smile. He can teach a class for retail customer service...needs recognition.
My only recommendation to the company is to invest in signs for each aisle. It will prevent customers from roaming around the store to find products. Respectfully.”

“After ordering a sub from Subbs by Carl across the street, I went to Family Dollar to get cash back. (Subbs by Carl is cash only.) Staff were very helpful at Family Dollar. It's set up like a CVS/store with all the necessities you may need!”

“Today Friday May 16,2025. I went to this dollar store to purchase 2 storage containers. I had my 5 month old grandson with me. Those 3 ladies that were working in the store (I didn’t get their names) were so helpful to me. The car seat got wedged in the cart and they came to my rescue, even helped me to the car with the containers. I just wanted management to know how kind they were and customer service was top tier. Thanks so much ?”

“I've gone here for years, even now, as an adult... The old staff still recognize me from when I was still a four year old. The staff are super friendly, and besides the aisles being narrower than most other stores. It's a good place to run to if you want to get something fast, quick and relatively inexpensive.”
“The staff is nice which is always the best thing. Next the store was fully stock and in place. I couldn't give it a 5 because the store is small. Nothing they can do about that but I have to state that. Also the lightening is poor and the floors are dingy. I'm only comparing to other dollar stores and that why it's a 5. But the staff are nice and it has balloons, Xmas stuff and so on I needed. Parking was easily accessible too. You know what I'll give it a 4”

“When you're STRETCHING that DOLLAR until it HOLLERS, this is your place!, For some reason, the WDC Dollar Tree's ALWAYS have boxes of stock in the aisles ( it's a given). Some items have been repackaged by the manufacturer, so if you don't see what you're used too, just look again. ?”
“Yesterday, my grandpa lost his reading glasses, and I embarked on a mission to find a replacement. After visiting a few stores, I decided to give Dollar Tree a try. From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. My search for suitable reading glasses ended when I stumbled upon Dollar Tree's selection. I found reading glasses with a strength of 3.25%, the strongest I had seen all day. The quality seemed decent, and at such an affordable price, it was an excellent find.Dollar Tree was remarkably clean and well-organized, which added to the overall positive shopping atmosphere.”

“I honestly have 0 complaints about the staff that works there currently, HOWEVER the “powers that be” over the store manager should feel ashamed. The higher ups should come in on a day where it’s a busy truck day to see why product gets out slower than normal.The age limit is already 21 and Maryland already underpays for minimum wage. The problem is not the location or the employees. The PROBLEM IS ANYONE other than the hiring manager(they can only do but so much!). The higher ups need to come in to make some changes, SERIOUSLY.I love coming to this location because they have everything a person could need, but how could anyone stay if there if a lack of staff and funds? If you all need employees, then think about getting rid of nicotine items. It’s a lot of kids that need jobs. Plus in the Oxon Hill area you can buy nicotine within a mile away from the next spot.Sorry if I came off mean, but ahout out to ALL the workers at the Oxon Hill location, the one near Oxon Hill High School! Everyone is so nice, helpful, and makes me feel wanted to shop. Please reward this location!!!”

“The store is 10x better than what it was a year ago. I see they have new management and workers so i guess these people care. More produtucts on the shelves which is a good thing. Hopefully the store will stay like this. Still havnt got that floor fixed yet though. Other than that keep it up.”

“I love shopping at the Dollar Tree! I can get all my household items like air freshners, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry, spices, snacks, and other items at amazingly reasonable prices! This store helps me to survive bcuz I can barely afford food in the grocery stores, not to mention household items. Being a senior citizen, the grocery store prices are just too high for me.”
