Warning to anyone getting beverages in the food court: The ice machine has visible mold growing. The clear plastic cover where you can see ice come out of has growing black mold on the inside. ALL THREE MACHINES have this disgusting mold. That means each time you fill up your cup of ice, bits of bacteria is falling in your cup. It's actually a health hazard!!! The machine needs a serious deep cleaning and service otherwise that mold is going to continue to grow and get more people sick.

Bro the customer service in the sam club is ass. The fat guy at the customer service counter doesn't even talk he just shakes his head and when he's finished with you just looks at you. Like speak! Freezers are empty sample counters look unclean. The girls at self check out were nice and helpful. Food court un organized. I ordered my food you'd think it be a system where your order comes in nope! After waiting 20 mins for an icee I walk to the counter and the lady says whats your order and then proceeds to make the icee. Its wild. I recommend the one in Annapolis or cotsco.

For some reason, Yelp is saying I am from San Francisco, but I live in Glen Burnie, MD. The only reason I am giving one star is that Yelp doesn't accept ZERO STARS. My family has been a Sam's Club member since 2007 and shopping at the Severn, MD Sam's since 2015. Until recently on October 7th, 2024, the service has been good and respectful, but my experience that day has made us have second thoughts about going back to Sam's again. I received a Sam's gift card and before redeeming the card, I checked with the Customer Service Desk to see how to use the gift card for my purchase and they said I could simply have the cashier scan the bar code to credit the amount from my purchase. WELL, I brought my cart full of items to the checkout and the cashier was mishandling my items - putting heavy items on top of my bananas and putting cold food on top of hot food. When I asked her not to handle my items that way, she said rudely that I could fix it myself after she finished scanning like she was in a hurry. I reminded her that was not nice and she did not seem to be concerned. When processing my purchase, she tried to scan the barcode, and it did not register and told me it would not scan, so I asked her to call the manager and she rudely said that even if a manager came the code would not scan as if I made an ignorant suggestion. As politely and slowly as I could, I asked the cashier to please call the manager and finally she called the manager. The manager, who was very nice and helpful, tried scanning the barcode and it worked with no problem. After the manager left, I asked the cashier her name and she said angrily, "I'm not giving you my name!" and acted as if she was the victim, which caused a man in the line behind me to yell at me that I am rude and to "Get out of here!". I turned to him and said he was being rude and that I wasn't talking to him, and he came after me and the woman behind him grabbed him to stop. I felt I was in danger and may need to call the police. I went back inside and spoke to 2 managers about the incident and pointed out the man who tried to attack me, and they said if it was a customer they cannot get involved. This was troubling to hear that the security they have is not to protect the customers. What is the purpose of the security officers and cameras? After that, I pointed out the cashier who caused the incident and they said they would speak to her. I said this is not good customer service. I do not feel safe shopping at Sam'a now that it appears they don't protect you when you are shopping there and there are Sam's employees that are making the problem worse. I'm also a member of Costco and haven't had this experience there. I preferred Sam's to Costco, but I don't feel safe there now and will just go to Costco. Sam's should understand there is a choice between them and comparable stores and not take their customers for granted by not concerning themselves about the safety and treatment of their customers.

Yesterday I went to get some things and the lady who checks the cards spoke to me rudely for showing my card on the phone, she was not friendly at all, she behaved ugly and even yelled at me.

I was in your Severn Maryland location this afternoon. Friday July 5th. I was sitting near the hotdog location when I overheard an older gentleman who said he was a regional manager berate a younger worker who I think accidentally pre wrapped up some hot dogs. She said she only worked there for 2 weeks and the venom this regional manager used on this your woman was horrible. He actually said "do you know who I am" If this is how regional management treats its staff I will be canceling my membership. I wish I caught the man's name but it was an older caucasian male who I believe he said he was a regional manager who was in the store on his day off. This man should be held to a higher standard if he is management.

It took over 40 min for my online order to be brought out to me. I had to physically flag down an employee and ask why other people who came after me were brought out.l their groceries. I am currently on hold, 20 min now, waiting to speak with a manager. The entire point of online/curbside orders are for people with busy lives. This cost me way more of my time than necessary. I don’t recommend this location. At all.

I go to Sam's Club mostly for meats, Salmon, and grilling/BBQ spices. We don't need all the bulk food products but a whole pork loin (pork chops), a whole Beef tenderloin (steaks) or ribeye's twice as big as the grocery store can all be found here at prices lower than the grocery store. This Sam's Club is well lit, always clean (my POV), and when I've had to engage an employee they were friendly, polite, and helpful. I do like when I visit and the bakery is in full swing. The smells of sweetness carry's across the warehouse. Yes, there is a yearly fee for use of Sam's Club. But I've found the savings on meat across the year paid for the membership.

Cafe employee was walking around checking the phone instead and getting orders for customers. Wait time just to order food was 10 minutes plus they have no clue what you just ordered. Such confusion. Need to hire people that actually know how to do the job and not stand around. This is pathetic. Only 3 employees working the cafe on a Saturday.

This Sam's was great ... on the Saturday before school starts I was expected chaos but the visit was lovely. No lines ... workers consistently stocking the shelves and we even got free lollipops. Costco does not give my daughter lollipops lol I will use this location from now on.

The club is clean enough, but best of luck getting down aisles, as they only seem to stock during open hours. There aren't enough self checkouts, so checkout can take a while because most people aren't too bright. The absolute WORST thing about this club is the fact that, after checkout, getting out the door can take over five minutes since they inexplicably have to rescan every item in everyone's carts. Such a mind boggling level of insanity!

Just tried to get ice cream with my husband at 6:15pm on a Saturday evening. Two people were working and they began cleaning and turning off machines while we were in line. No more food or pizzas were being made at prime dinner hours. WHAT THE HECK.

Extremely easy curbside pickup experience. I ordered ahead of time, selected my date/time of pickup, received a text confirming my order is ready, notified them which parking spot I was in by texting back, and then within 5 minutes an employee came out with all of my items and helped me load them in the trunk. Truly a 5-star pickup experience!
