One of the worst Wells Fargo branches I have been to. And don't even think about trying to call there to ask a question. They never answer their phone. It is never busy there but somehow everything takes forever. Don't bother going here unless you're using the ATM. Wells Fargo has steadily gone down hill over the last few years and every time I have do to anything in a branch it makes me want to take my money elsewhere.

Too sad to see the Wells Fargo at 7846 QuarterField Rd. Severn, Maryland 21144 is running downhill. The lady sitting at the office station needed to train in basic customer service. She acted like customers are invisible, or had nothing to do with her. Extremely unprofessional. She forgets that the customer comes to the place to bring the business to the bank, not to beg her for any favor. Funny, the customer service at McDonald's or Burger King is way better than at Wells Fargo.

3 employees in the bank and nobody other customers when I was there. I walked in with a question regarding my account, and I was told I needed an appointment. I couldn't make an appointment. I was told I needed to make the appointment online in order to talk to someone.

Was told I can’t get $100 worth of change because I don’t know the account number for my employers corporate business account. I work for a nationwide multi BILLION dollar corporation of course I don’t have their personal banking info. And providing the ATM card & PIN wasn’t sufficient enough either. Went to Harundale branch & was in/out with my change in under 5 minutes. Unprofessional……….

Was told multiple wrong things by people at the bank to only get to another branch and be told I was given bad instructions. The employee was too busy talking about football to wait on the next customer

This place is a joke. Was in line for 30 minutes at drive thru. One lane open five cars in line. Teller had no clue what he was doing. Teller wouldn't let me deposit my husband's check into our JOINT bank account because of a scratch on the check. Manager was rude to me and questioned who I was. I just needed to deposit a check. I have two bank accts, a mortgage, and a loan there and this is the way im treated. We will be moving everything now. The Wells Fargo in Hanover didn't have a problem with depositing ithe check.

Manager is too concerned with joking and flirting with his female employees then helping customers. There was a line inside and outside. One teller and the manager would not help his customers.

Very very very bad customer service . They locked the door 2 minutes before closing time. They saw me coming to the bank from front door but they shut down and tell me to go back.. they are really stupid .

My experience at this branch on July 31, 2017 as a member was terrible and very disappointing. I attempted to cash out a check by depositing it into my account. The check was signed over to me by my doctor as instructed by my insurer, whom the check was issued incidentally to. However, the branch management refused on the basis that it was a third party check and stated that the person that the check was issued to had to appear in person with I.D. or deposit the check (that they signed over to me) into their own account then provide me with a personal check. I informed them that the person is my doctor to indicate they would not and could not come with me to the branch. Yet, they still refused making the same recommendation. I then contacted customer service to verify if such recommendation by the bank is the process for a signed check. The customer service would not affirm directly that the recommendation was wrong. Yet, Wells Fargo customer services said that such check can be processed as it is but that such decision is discretionary to the branch. Even after I filed a complaint for reconsideration with Wells Fargo customer service rep within the same hour of their initial rejection this branch still rejected to cash and deposit my check. The management and teller were Caucasian females and I'm African American female. I feel the explanation to refuse processing the check that was officially endorsed to me, was despicable and discriminatory. It is not discretionary to refuse cashing/depositing a legitimate check. The discretionary reason provided by the customer service rep is an excuse for the branch to practice unethical behavior. I will be closing my account and advised customers to do the same. I have been a standing member through the allocation of my account through Wachovia to Wells Fargo for years. Unfortunately, this isn't my first experience of discrimination from Wells Fargo nor this branch but it will be the last.
