I usually don’t leave reviews, but the woman working pickup orders on 1/23 deserves a shout-out. With the big snowstorm coming, it was expected that some items wouldn’t be in stock. She did a great job with substitutions and even messaged me to give me a heads-up. My order was ready before my pickup time, and I didn’t wait long at all before she brought it out — even though the store was clearly very busy. She was also very friendly when dropping off the groceries. She deserves extra praise for her hard work and positive attitude during such a hectic time for grocery stores.

I've been shopping the Aldi stores in the Annapolis area since any of them opened. I know they don't have everything but what they have has usually been good quality. I shop here for several reasons, one being reasonable prices! Second, I'm so over the other stores in our area, safeway, green valley, etc, having a sale item that's not priced in the system (safeway), or buy one, get one, and the price is jacked up from the day before's price, so really not a sale(green valley). But today that premise for shopping at Aldi was reduced to zero when I looked at their weekly circular and saw wings on sale, $2.29/lb. Got there and got a dozen items then got the family pack of wings. But they were priced at $2.89/lb?
So I went to the cashier to verify and he was in the dark. Asked a 'manager' and she said those wings were sold out since last week! The ad started Wednesday, Dec 31st and now it's the third, 3 days after ad started! I just feel so taken advantage of when grocers do this to the community. It's a sad testament to the vital function a grocery store performs for all the families and visitors to these communities.
The realization has hit that they are not only vital to the neighborhoods, but are actually cast machines! But when or where do you draw the line between performing a vital service and 'making a million dollars', on the backs of young families? Shame on the management teams that have no feelings for the people around their stores and figure out ways to confuse, obviscate, and lie for the increase in the corporate bottom line. And for what, a pat on the head, like their handlers care any more for their teams than the teams care for the surrounding areas of families. The Grocery Manufactures of America have just gone too far, causing malnutrition for the lower end of the equation to just robbing others of money they should not have had to spend for food!

Only giving 2 stores because anytime I have gone there past 6pm, there are no cashiers to be found.
I had a whole entire cart of groceries & had to scan everything myself. That’s happened to me a few other times besides tonight.
For a few items it’s okay, but very difficult with a huge full cart. They should have at least one cashier available for customers who buy a lot of groceries.

They had decent prices on meats. I was expecting certain products with better ingredients but they all had the average American FDA poisons that name branded foods have.
