I went to the Severna Park branch in Maryland today to make a deposit. The line was 5 people long with only one cashier. The customer in front of me had several transactions and was taking a long time. Ashley Taylor claimed to be the branch manager but was not wearing any name tags (she had to write her name down on a piece of paper because I didn't know who she was). After letting customer standing in line for 15 minutes, she finally came around with her laptop to help people in line. Although I was the next in line, she started helping people at the end of the line moving forward. After she finally helped the guy behind me, she left to go to her desk without ever asking me if I needed any help. When I confronted her about totally disregarding me, she smirked and said she knew her branch environment (?) very well and could tell that I had to make a cash deposit, even though she didn't know me and had no way of knowing what I was in line for. She never had the courtesy to ask me if I needed help, as she did with all the other in line behind me. She was very rude and kept telling me that she knew her branch very well (which had absolutely nothing to do with what I needed!).

I was in line at the bank this past Tuesday when a male teller asked a customer in the line ahead of me to step out of line so that he could get the line down because she had multiple deposits. She was an employee of a local business and said she didn't have time to step aside as she had to open the store. He asked if she was working alone, still trying to get her to step aside. When she wouldn't, he then complained to the customers behind her in line about the amount of deposits she had as she was leaving. The tellers at this bank are often rude and slow and I am not surprised by this instance in the least.

I have been a customer of Bank of America in Severna Park for many years. The bank manager and tellers always greet me with a smile. The bank manager always has been helpful and polite. Frankly I was stunned by the one 1 star review as that has not been my experience.

Worst manager I have ever encounter. Rafael is rude and utterly disrespectful to customers. I do not recommend this BofA at all.
