Simply impossible to talk to someone on the phone. They never return calls left on voicemail. Having trouble getting Rx. Called in by doc 9 days ago. Leaving for vk tomorrow. First was told waiting for insurance. Then was told waiting to speak with doc. Doc says they spoke with pharmacist and corrected problem. Today pharmacist has no documentation of this. Switching pharmacies asap, will never return

I called the pharmacy after having some issues with my insurance the day before, which led to my prescription being denied. It turned out to be a case of miscommunication—not a big deal, but still inconvenient. When I called, the nurse named Stephanie answered and was extremely helpful. She explained everything clearly and told me the prescription was only $10. She even offered to let me pay for it instead of going through the whole VA process again. When I went to pick it up, I was surprised to see it had already been paid for, with a sticky note on the bag that said, “Thank you for your service.” That kind gesture really meant a lot. Huge thanks to Stephanie for her kindness and professionalism.

The self checkout machines at this store are frustratingly outdated. They don't scan well and constantly throw errors about weight being incorrect. Also, the lady working at self checkout is very rude and should not be in a customer service role. Giant is a very outdated store in general and I recommend going elsewhere.

I don’t typically get my prescriptions filled at Giant anymore and today I was reminded why. 2 of the 3 woman that I came across during my visit to fill a prescription were grossly incompetent and rude. Most if not all individuals that are picking up a prescription are undoubtedly experiencing some sort of medical issue. It would be nice if the staff was empathetic to that and aimed to solve problems that arise during the transaction vs dismissing customers and their needs. I was provided with a goodrx code by my doctor to lower a prescription from $230 down to $60. It took over an hour for them to accomplish this task. The pharmacist on duty Thao Nguyen was absolutely no help, rude, dismissive and often prolonged the solution due to the errors she was making in the system. Somehow the prescription was displayed as being released (her issue) and so she issued a refill (instead of fixing the original issue she made) which when the billing issue persisted caused additional issues that had to be escaped to an offsite help desk technician. She kept saying out loud amongst customers that the issue was that I didn’t want to pay which was not the case. I knew that the price was incorrect and wanted them to correct the issues they caused and at that point I would happily pay what I was quoted by the other Giant location that my prescription was originally sent to but was out of stock. I do appreciate the technician (not pharmacist) for listening and calling goodrx at my request which ultimately resolved the issue. I wish the team would show more empathy in resolving issues like these.

Too often the negative is brought to light here's something different. I dont ever post reviews but feel that credit was needed to be given. I stopped in for a few things and couldn't for the life of me find my steakumms. I noticed a gentleman coming out of the back with a determined stride as he was on a mission. I asked "do you know where the sandwich steaks are?" Expecting an answer of a isle number. This young man I believe his name was frank stopped dead in his tracks and walked me to the item. I would have been happy with that but please read on. As I'm making my way out of the store I stop at customer service and there he was again. I just needed cigarettes I know bad habbit but still. I said I just need cigarettes ill ring this other stuff up at self checkout. The young man took the time to stop and ring out all my stuff. I'm certain he was doing 20 other things and I was so impressed that some folks take customer service seriously. Great Job frank I hope that's his name. Allot of people could learn allot from frank and I hope this reaches the appropriate supervisor because I beleive he deserves many accolades.

A beautiful and large Giant food store in a great location. Highlight is the pharmacy is at the very front of the store. So convenient!! Two entrances as well as a coffee shop on one side. This store has everything you need

Giant! Baby! $8.24 for your ( usual $5) package of wings!? you need to stop watching the liberal media will do better with a ROFO box including fries and a bun. There is no amount of inflation to justify greed. (I just wanted a wing)

My family and I have been patrons of this location for over 20 years. It was convenient as it is located close to our home. Over the last year we have noticed a general decline as many of the items that we routinely shop for are not in stock. Last month we tried the curbside pickup, which took an hour of waiting in the designated spot, even though we received confirmation that our order was filled prior to our arrival. Today, I reluctantly tried the curbside pick up again, but the weather is bad and this should be the best alternative for social distancing. I pulled into the parking space and called the number listed on the sign over and over, which nobody picked up, or it was busy. Finally, fed up with waiting (during the scheduled time) I went into to speak with somebody at customer service. The young lady in customer service informed me that the phones were down. I politely told her that they should post a sign, so people would know. To which she replied, "Sir, it would get wet given the weather." No kidding! I had been waiting out in it for the last 30 minutes waiting for you to deliver my groceries. Solve the problem! Have somebody monitor those spaces so if somebody pulls in, they can meet them and explain the situation, get their name and get them their order. Not to mention, you are 200 feet away from an Office Depot. Go down and get some plastic sheet protectors to insert a sign into to call another number, that is working, or to come inside. Doing nothing is not the answer. If this happened to me, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Not to mention, while I was waiting I noticed more of those curbside pickup spaces being used by employees being picked up, rather than patrons.

Severna Park Giant is #1 in true customer service. Stephanie, George, Rose, Karlee and Team are always eager to help us with a friendly smile. They are patient and very knowledgeable with answers to our medication questions. Our household has over 20+ medications. Giant Pharmacy has our needed items in stock with a variety of OTC choices. The staff has gone above and beyond to assist during the pandemic in helping my family stay healthy. Thank you,
