Park books is the best thing to happen to Severna Park! The book selection is incredible, the staff are incredibly kind, and the events they host are super fun! What’s even better is if you don’t find the book you’re looking for, they’ll order it for you! The staff is also amazing at recommending a new read. If you haven’t been here already, I urge you to go!

I wanna express my gratitude to the owners of this bookstore, which has had a significant impact on both my older son and younger toddler in manifold ways. The owners' commitment to serving the community goes far beyond selling books; rather, it extends to providing literary and cultural opportunities that cater to the diverse interests of everyone.When the pandemic hit, my older son's daily routine was uprooted, and he lost interest in reading. However, we found out about this bookstore shortly after stores could open back up and the bookstore's book club proved to be a valuable tool in revitalizing his love for reading while aiding in his gradual return to a sense of normalcy. Also, when my son experienced stress in school, the owner provided the appropriate books to support and reassure him.Likewise, my toddler loves the bookstore. Additionally, I am grateful for the plethora of events organized by the store that caters to young children. These events create an enchanting atmosphere, imbued with adventure and a love of reading.This bookstore is more than just an ordinary retail store; it is a hub for cultural exploration and intellectual discovery. The owners' dedication to their customers and community is evident in their thoughtfully curated inventory and diverse events. I highly recommend this bookstore to anyone looking to experience the magic of reading.

I love this book store. The staff is genuinely kind and know their books. They make helpful suggestions just by asking a few questions. There is something for everyone. The LitLab, full children's section, book talks with authors, monthly book club and more. Oh, their website has a live in stock inventory so I can browse at night, buy my book and pick it up the next day!! If they don't have it they'll order it. It's so cozy in there too. Don't forget to visit Darcy the stores adorable dog. Remember to shop small.

Park Books is such a lovely bookstore with the cutest dog and the kindest owner and employees. The atmosphere is unbeatable, and they offer story and craft time for kids as well as author events. Just the bookstore that Severna Park needs!

I live in North Carolina, I called the Park Brooks Book store to ask them to help me with a Christmas gift for my niece. The salesperson Beth was so wonderful, helping me select books and even to wrap up my purchase for me to give to my niece. It’s good to know this kind of hospitality still exist in the retail industry. I will shop here again for sure.

There are not words enough to describe how wonderful this store and its staff are! This is the most inviting environment for all book lovers. The store itself is cozy and full of more than you'd expect, whether you're looking for books or book-related gifts, this is the right place. The delicious cherry on top is the exceptional staff who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, right down to learning your name. It is a completely different shopping experience, and I'll be visiting them way more often. You should, too.
