Place could really use some updating. Aisles are tight and it is dated. Shelves were stocked nicely and the deli counter worker was nice. Just needs a facelift.

This store is in desperate need of remodeling, it's entirely too expensive to shop somewhere that appears to be dated in 1999

Meat department should be reported to local health authorities. They were trying to push meats that were nearing expiration with a "buy 4 packages mix & match for $19.99." Decided to give it a try with some hamburger, chicken drumsticks, pork tenderloin and steak. all had sell by dates that were coming up in 2-3 days. while the burger and chicken were okay, the pork came out of the package smelly & slimy. had to throw it out & air out the smell from my kitchen! the steak I frozen immediately but will probably have to throw that out too. I should have know. I saw other packages of meat on the store shelf with sell by dates that had expired 10 days ago!

Out of all the Safeways in the area, this one is definitely my favorite. The store is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff seem friendly and helpful. However, I have noticed that it is not always as well stocked as it could be. During busy times like weekends or holidays, certain items are often out of stock, or the shelves are not as full as they could be. This can be a bit frustrating when I'm in a rush and need to grab something quickly.Despite this, I still prefer this Safeway over the others in the area.

The Deli department is very unsanitary, there is a mop bucket filled with moldy water right by the food. I worked there for around 3 weeks and it was still there on my first day. Most atrocious thing I've ever seen, obviously hasn't been changed in many MONTHS, even though I frequently mentioned it, its still there to this day. The food conditions are bad. I would not eat anything from there, the health inspectors would have a field day with this place. Bad/dangerous working conditions. They also treat their employees like garbage. Ive called out 3 times, twice because my coworkers got me sick and I needed to know that I didnt have covid because at the time3 out of 4 were sick and 2 tested positive for Covid. Not my fault whatsoever, once I switched from am shift to pm shift because i had an AM appointmen, I did not call out, I switched shifts. And last but not least, I started profusely vomitin, called out the next day, made sure it wasnt contagious, then came back the day after (today) with a mask on just to be extra safe and then the manager claimed that I called out 5 times but it was definitely 3 maximum. I was a very hard worker and always polite to the customers but I still got fired anyways. Especially when it was safeways employees that got me sick 2 out of the 3 times, so i called out just to check for Covid, just like any good employee would do. I did the same thing yesterday, called out to make sure I would cause a major health hazard, then went back the next day with a covid mask on, still not feeling great but still gave the job my all, until they fired me for allegedly missing 5 days even though it was 3 maximum. The stupidest part is 2 of my other coworkers had taken at least 5 days off in the past week and a half. If I were you, I would shop at a different store. No idea why they would treat me like this. Ive worked my a** off at this job. Then my coworkers got me sick. Then I got nauseated, took a day off to make sure I was fine, came back the next day and got immediately fired. I tried to clear it up by telling him it was 3 days max and that this is the only job I can get to as I dont have a car and now I will be homeless is 2 weeks. Climb off your high horse Matt.

Employees who don't care. Foods rarely in stock, the stuff that is, is often rotten. God forbid you need to place a bakery or floral order after hours. Great location but needa to be replaced with a Whole Foods or Wegmans.

Great employees. I was asked 3 times if they could help me find something, and I didn't even ask. I was there from out of town, and must have looked lost, but they noticed quickly, and took care of me. Very impressive.

Went in tonight to get two items really quick at 9:45. Trying to check out had problems at the self check out. Three employees up front none could help the person with the blinking light. Left without my groceries and won't be back. It is bad enough you have to check yourself out but to have three people standing around not helping.

This afternoon I went to the deli dept. A rather young male assisted me. I requested a 1/2 lb of Esskay Ham to be sliced. He was not rude or disrespectful. The issue I have is as he was slicing my meat, another young male who works for Safeway approaches him entering the employee area but standing partially behind the counter and rudely interrupted him asking for assistance in locating the price of something in his hand in the refrigerated part outside of the deli. So the young man stops in the middle of serving me and says excuse me and goes and helps his coworker and is gone maybe 30 seconds. He returns and DOES NOT CHANGE HIS GLOVES an proceed to finishing touching and handling my bare meat.I do not appreciate this unprofessional unsanitary untrained behavior. I understand that businesses are desperate for coverage and willing to hire anyone but that was unacceptable! I took the meat and then declined to purchase at checkout with cashier because I was not satisfied with what he did. I would appreciate if you would train your workers on sanitation and how to use common sense when you need to choose helping a customer in front of you vs a employee who was not in distress, sick or carrying 300lbs. and about to fall.

My daughter and I stopped by Safeway to purchase flowers for husbands and in-laws graves. They have an awesome selection. The yellow roses were my first and only choice. Just beautiful.
