“What a cool little shop! I stopped in here while recently visiting WV and fell in love with this place.
I have sensitive skin and thus, I must use all natural beauty products (over-processed/chemical-laden products actually give me a horrible rash), so I was stoked to find this place. They make everything in the store: soaps, lotions, skincare, you name it, and it’s all natural. The scents are prolific too: they are strong but not overwhelming.
I purchased body butter and wow, I love it. The consistency really is like whipped butter; it’s light but definitely moisturizing. I am impressed with how they’ve created the texture. It’s a bit greasy, but that’s body butter for you, and it absorbs quickly. I just allow a few minutes before putting on clothing so it can absorb into my skin. The scent is absolutely amazing too: most home made products don’t have a strong enough scent, but this one sure does!
I also purchased some felt soap, which I have never seen before. What a cool product! The eye cream/gel is also fabulous for nighttime, especially for my puffy 47 y.o. eyes and constantly dry skin.
I can also add that everything I saw in the store is reasonably priced, which shocked me for a little tourist shop. For home made, all natural products, I am very impressed with the pricing. Most shops of this variety over charge, but not this one! I purchased soap, eye cream, and body butter, and it was $32 - much more affordable than many stores like this. I wish I’d had more room in my suitcase because I would have bought more, lol!”
“The owner here is awesome, she truly cares about what she does in supporting fair trade. They have some really cool handmade items. I walked out with a handmade wallet from Cambodia and olive oil from Palestine. It's really great to see somebody caring about other people around the world. I will keep my shopping habits in mind after shopping in this store”

“Visited yesterday with my husband. Bought the dog shampoo bar in lavender and the honeydew wax melts. LOVE THE SHAMPOO BAR! Just finished giving both of my dogs baths. The suds were amazing as well as the smell. Clean rinsing and softening (for my hands as well). I will definitely be ordering more :)”

“I can't speak anything about the prices because I honestly didn't look. But the store was so much fun to walk through. We ended up looking around for 15 minutes and honestly there is something for everyone here. A lot of things are wacky and this is definitely not your traditional souvenir shop. If you do not have self-control this is a story that you definitely could be spending a lot of money with. These are all things that I definitely haven't seen before so it was a unique experience”
“It's nice to know that Boonsboro inc really exist. I'm from Argentina and I'm reading Nora Roberts's book. I love seeing the city by Google maps and realized that it looks like the pages of book”
“23OCT.2024 Great owners and friendly. This place has a superb selection on all seasonal items. So many cool items in here and good prices.
You need to stop in here and you will be glad you did. My pics will speak volumes and tell the story.”
“I came in with my 10 year old daughter to find an Apache Tear to help with her grieving the recent passing of her pet. The owner (I am assuming she’s the owner) informed us she didn’t have an Apache Tear but then took us along with her around all the crystals and stones and then recommended a few other stones that may help comfort her. Even though the shop was somewhat busy with the Fairy Festival going on, The owner took her time to show my daughter how the stones looked different under sunlight and helped explain each one to her. After my daughter found one that spoke to her, the owner then proceeded to tell us that it was no charge for the stone. It really touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes, because that small beautiful act of kindness is just so rare to come by these days. I appreciate all the time she took with us. I love this shop and I will recommend it to everyone!”
“They have a lot of Harpers Ferry merch, and a ton of hiking gear. I was surprised at how much hiking stuff they had, as well as food that you may need if you were going camping. It was pretty small, but there was a wide selection of things that you could give us gifts or things that you could use while you were there. Drinks and an ice cream case were at the front of the store as well.”
“The new visitor center has an excellent museum and a theater with a film that portrays the historical significance of this site. It's a somber unit of the National Park Service, the site of an intensely bloody Civil War battle. Outside, there are monuments to walk around, a park loop to drive and some historic buildings you can go inside.”
