“The new visitor center has an excellent museum and a theater with a film that portrays the historical significance of this site. It's a somber unit of the National Park Service, the site of an intensely bloody Civil War battle. Outside, there are monuments to walk around, a park loop to drive and some historic buildings you can go inside.”

“This place has beautiful things and it was really cool to see. I also love the concept and the ways it supports the makers. We bought a unicorn mobile for our baby’s crib and a little bracelet for her. Upon checkout, I noticed the price was higher than the price tag said, so I told the cashier I could have sworn the mobile was $58 and the cashier told me that $68 was the price, so I went with it. It was an odd interaction and I didn’t push. Turns out upon opening the box I was right. The daisy beaded bracelet I got I also could have sworn was cheaper but it was rung up as $8. I didn’t even think to check. Now I think that could’ve been wrong too. Would have given 5 stars if there had been a little more support in customer service.”

“I found Shepherd's Blessings the first time I visited Shepherdstown. I have been back several times since. I am hooked on their Coffee Butter and body butters. They even talked me into trying a soap, which I am very pleased with. The owners are a joy to talk with.”

“I had been on the hunt for a Deborah Dickinson recycled vinyl record wall clock since I first saw a collection of them at Tamarack WV during our Summer ‘23 Road Trip.

Through the marvel of modern technology, I stumbled upon Gifts Inn Boonsboro during a Google search. I made a quick call to ensure the clock I saw was indeed in stock, and within minutes it was on its way down from MD to SC.

Thank you, Rachael, for your friendly service. The clock arrived very well packaged, it works just as expected, and it looks fantastic! I’m beyond tickled with my whole experience.”

“I came in with my 10 year old daughter to find an Apache Tear to help with her grieving the recent passing of her pet. The owner (I am assuming she’s the owner) informed us she didn’t have an Apache Tear but then took us along with her around all the crystals and stones and then recommended a few other stones that may help comfort her. Even though the shop was somewhat busy with the Fairy Festival going on, The owner took her time to show my daughter how the stones looked different under sunlight and helped explain each one to her. After my daughter found one that spoke to her, the owner then proceeded to tell us that it was no charge for the stone. It really touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes, because that small beautiful act of kindness is just so rare to come by these days. I appreciate all the time she took with us. I love this shop and I will recommend it to everyone!”

“Nice people! Headed out on bike ride and my daughter blew her tire tube. Was able to purchase a new tube and borrow a tool kit so my husband could quickly make the repair and get us out on the trail. 100% will be back to shop from quality people!”
