I had a coin collection I was interested in selling, approximately 65 coins. The staff was courteous and helpful. ..their coin expert promptly examined the coins and gave me an estimate . since I am not a coin expert, I had previously decided to get 3 estimates and take the highest. Of the other two, One offered me 10% more and the other offered me 50% more so I did not sell to bonanza.

I'm going to suggest that anyone who asks this dealer for an evaluation on coins (as in 'offer'), get quotes from other sources. This dealer made an offer on a collection that ended up being over seven times (SEVEN) under the quote we finally settled with. Either this dealer didn't want to be bothered or he intentionally low-balled (reason unknown) but the offer wasn't even up to the melted value. That just isn't good and people need to know when they're getting a credible offer. The one made to me was "NOT".

Surprised at their prices to buy my gold coins - other dealers in the area were $20-$30 over spot, they came in $40 under spot per coin. Never seen a dealer offer to buy so much under spot when everyone else is buying over spot?

Having to ring the bell and be buzzed in was a little intimidating at first, but a great place to buy and sell coins and other valuables.

I recently visited the place to buy some coins from my home country. Julian was very patient and kind in helping me look through the coins they had. Their collection was wide with coins coming from all over the world. I could spend days and days looking through all the coins they had in the boxes. The coins were fairly priced for the market. It was a nice small business located to the parking garages. It also was not too far from College Park. It is definitely a must visit for any coin collector or anyone who wants to feel and see history. Would definitely be coming back again to get more coins!

Im from Texas, in town celebrating my parents 50th nuptials. Finances are not favorable but were in just enough positioning to pick out a fitting gift for them on their a anniversary milestone. The Bonanza experience was familiar, I wasnt treated as a stranger but as a friend long since removed. Julian is awesome with his aid and knowledge in the realm of hard asset allocation.

This is THE local coin store in the area. Excellent, knowledgeable staff and awesome inventory for bullion and numismatics.

Hate reviewing local shops poorly but bad customer service just can't be ignored.

Julian helped me find a rare Large Cent in VF condition for much less than ebay. He's also sold me many other coins that have gone up in value quickly. Give the man a break and get to know him.

Julian is thoughtful and walks you through the evaluation of your collection to steer you best in what to keep or sell. The store has a ton of treasures if you are willing to take the time to search through there boxes.

I am interested in the 1791 Washington Large Eagle PCGS MS62 BN, however if Julian could answer a few questions about this piece. The PCGS Price Guide lists this grade at $2,400, you feel that it "looks under graded" and are asking for $2,995 which is roughly PCGS Price Guide in MS63, then why would you not send it back to PCGS for re-grading or send it to NGC in the PCGS holder for NGC to grade it if this is your personal hunch? Also at auction in 12/2020 Stack's Bower sold same coin in PCGS MS62 BN at $1,680 and 1/2020 Heritage Auction sold one for $1,680. Like I mentioned I am interested in purchasing this coin you have but I have concerns on your asking price. Please if you could let me know on why your asking price is higher than the PCGS Price Guide.
