SUPER cafe mocha and cappacino, delicious cro-nut, all provided by a world-class barista! On the ground floor of the SS library. A real treat!

This place might be going through some rennovation because it did not look quite like some of the images on Google, but for such a small space tucked away in the public library, the lox bagel was very good! The barista was working independently on multiple orders at once and she was nice. I did not expect the macchiato and lox bagel to be so good, but both were satisfying!

Thank you David for making a place we can feel comfortable in and enjoy music with some quality coffee. Thank you for being a leader in the community when it comes to appreciating arts.- Tim @ re:discovery records

Under the impression that this was a standalone coffee place, but it’s just in the lobby of the library. Coffee and food were fine, but if you’re looking for a traditional cozy shop this isn’t it.

Nice service, good pastry and coffee. Depressing location, unfortunately. Would have liked to hear music or anything but silence - it was eerily quiet

I've been going to Bump N' Grind since they were on East-West highway. It's a bit of walk to the library, but I e enjoyed bringing my laptop to work for a few hours here.

I found this coffee shop on Yelp and thought it would be cool as the name is clever. I looked at the Yelp photos and saw a DJ playing music, some pastries and coffee. After finding paid street parking a block away we arrived. This is located in a library so it was very quiet, NO "Bump" at this grind place. As we walked in the one staff member (barista) was sitting behind the counter on his phone. I ordered a mocha and got a chocolate donut. When I went to pay on the iPad it was extremely dirty, looks like it has never been cleaned. As I was waiting for my coffee I started to notice how dirty everything was. Tables had other people's dirty coffee cups and dirty napkins. Finger prints and dust on all display cases, windows and walls. The small DJ (record) area had pots where plants once live and is now an insect cemetery. We found a place to sit near a window (even this table top was dirty). The coffee was average the donut probably from a local market. My friend and I like to travel around this area and try fun new coffee houses (non commercial). This was all around a huge disappointment. We could have gone to a local gas station and got the same coffee and donut and wish we did due to the lack of cleanliness. My Yelp friends I would pass this one up- you won't miss a thing, as there are plenty of cool fun CLEAN independent coffee houses around!

I really liked the unsweetened iced tea they sold in mason-like jars at the 1200 east west highway location. There were some gluten free baked goods available too, packaged (not fresh). There was a corner for listening to old records. Cute little stop for your coffee or tea. But one of the guys on the cash register would give a bit of an attitude if you asked for a receipt - which is typical of any pay-for-goods transaction! Try this location too.

Usually good. Walked in 930 last Tuesday and no staff was behind counter. Waited more than 10 minutes and it remained unstaffed. No idea where they were.

It’s been really nice to see this all of this play out. I wish you much future success! It’s nice to have a place like this in the area where you can just chill out and have a pour-over coffee while listening to great music! Im glad that it’s curated by people with rich history in the city!

I took one sip and threw the whole coffee out. It was SO bad. Coffee was bitter and they added way too much syrup.

This coffee shop is inside the library on the back side, ground floor. Seating is extremely limited and because it's at the bottom of an indoor escalator the area is loud with a constant whirring noise. You can get coffees, teas, and small snacks either for there or to go. Nothing particularly special as far as coffee spots go but its location makes it extremely convenient and valuable.
