Daniel and his team helped make our "new to us" 1939 Silver Spring house into our perfect home. They removed a wall, added insulation, replaced joists and did much more to get the house up to 2020 standards. His team was detailed and very helpful. We were able to move in on time too. Daniel and Nilou care about the project as being "right". Daniel gave us the impression that he wanted to finish the job without any errors, and that's what he did. Daniel built a screened porch at the back of our house. It was exactly what we wanted: a clean, elegant, simple structure that allowed us to spend a pandemic summer outside, unbitten by mosquitoes. Daniel was responsive to our needs and questions. The work was high-quality and the price was very competitive with other bids we received. We recently completed a major home renovation and two-story addition with Daniel Krienbuehl Contractors and our experience with Daniel and his team was wonderful. From our first meeting, his integrity and excitement for the project were palpable, and he was able to be creative and accommodate our budget. Every member of his team was a pleasure to have in our home. They were conscientious with Coronavirus safety protocols, and completed the project on budget. Daniel had done projects for two other houses on our street and both neighbors raved about how great he and his team was to work with. We had an extremely positive experience with him as well. Daniel and Nilou both were very thoughtful, responsive, and creative. --all while keeping our budget in mind. This was our first time exploring a project of this magnitude and they were terrific to work with.

Daniel and his team remodeled our 1970s kitchen-family room, transforming the dual-space from a cramped, cave-like experience into a modern, open Craftsman-style kitchen, an airy family room replete with a big-sky window seat and a storage-rich interior, thanks to a mudroom addition. The crew was punctual, professional and courteous at all times. The quality of the work and the responsiveness to requests for custom touches was outstanding. Daniel and his crew built a backyard shed for us, and we were very pleased with the work. They were professional and responsive, and clearly invested in doing the best possible job. Daniel was always available to answer questions or address concerns, from beginning to end. He was even excited about accommodating our request to built a climbing wall for our daughter on the shed's exterior! Daniel and his crew completed a large (567 sq. ft.) addition to my home last year. I'd previously done two smaller renovation projects with two other contractors, one of whom was good, the other mediocre. Daniel is in another league altogether -- the experience of working with him was fantastic. He's very knowledgable about good building practices and he is the consummate professional. He stuck to the proposed budget and calendar and there were no surprises. After the project was completed, he was very responsive to my questions regarding minor issues that came up.
