We stopped to check out new VW Tiguan in October and lucked our way into working with Jordan. I hate the car buying and Jordan was so easy to work with. No high pressure vibes during the test drives or sales process. He answered all my practical and impractical questions during the test drive and made sure we knew every aspect of the safety features (we were recently in an accident so this was super important!). We went to a variety of other dealerships but came back both for the car but specifically to Darcars to make the purchase. Jordan and Diako worked with us as much as possible in price to get us into a high quality vehicle.

Terrible customer service!! I waited 3+ hours for a new tire and an oil change! They send you a text message saying you can contact them through text but nobody responds. This is absolutely ridiculous. Dealerships are a bunch of BS and twice the price for everything! Thanks VW fir such great service.

I love my VW — the car itself is fantastic. Unfortunately, my experience with Darcars both after the sale and with service was frustrating. I had to send countless emails and follow-ups just to get my tags on time, and I only got them at the last minute. They never informed me about an extra fee for the plates, and when I reached out for help, no one seemed to care enough to understand what I actually needed — staff just pushed me along and seemed to hope I wouldn’t call back. My service experience was just as bad: I brought the car in for door protection and nitrogen air, and again, no one made any effort to understand what I needed. Because of all this, I don’t trust the dealership for service, even with the extra packages I purchased. The car is great, but buyers should know that overall support, communication, and service are seriously lacking. I would not recommend.

My experience with Yachii at Darcars Volkswagon in Silver Spring was excellent. He was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions quickly. I decided on my purchase without seeing the car prior to going into the office to finalize the purchase, but Yachii made it easy by providing a complete walk-around, highlighting the features, to ensure there were no surprises. I highly recommend working with Yachii for your next vehicle purchase!

Just spent $$$$$ to have my 2017 VW Golf serviced to make sure everything was shipshape for our annual drive from MD to ME. Started having engine trouble and the NH VW service found debris in a fuel injector from a service 10,00 miles ago. In addition, they listed multiple problems from poor service from last week, including the serviceman having left a flashlight under the hood near the engine!!! Furious. I’ve spent a fortune in the last week.

I came here for a simple fix but was denied service.
My gas cap was stuck closed, and I was unfortunately running on fumes when I got to the dealership. I wanted them to open it without running a diagnosis. It should have been simple to remove the lining in the trunk and pull the actuator. However they refused to look at my car without sending my engine data to VW. After going back and forth with the service manager he finally did say “okay if you want to do it, it will be $280.” I said “that’s fine” and went outside to make a phone call before paying to have my car fixed. While I was on the phone the service manager stepped outside and told me they were going to deny me service. No explanation whatsoever was offered as to why they could not take care of the issue. I was told I need to leave and was treated with hostility.
I ended up going to a nearby gas station where believe it or not they opened the door (it was alap a lot cheaper than $280). After that I could finally put enough gas into the tank to get to a better dealership. Ourisman of Laurel took care the issue easily.
After submitting a 1 star review I did receive a call from their customer support team and they thoroughly explained their policies and why they couldn’t help me at the time. The representative I spoke with was very nice and apologetic and asked me if I would be willing to change my review. I agreed to change my original review because it’s not their fault at the end of the day. However the service manager did not offer any explanation and was rude and hostile when telling me to leave. I am still upset with how I was initially treated as a customer.
I still don’t see myself returning in the near future for service. This is not a bash on the dealership, just their service manager and how he poorly handled the issue.

Worst VW I’ve ever been to. Service manager is a total idiot. I spoke with the entire service staff about having my vehicle serviced and explicitly stated I do not want to go through warranty. The service manager stepped outside to tell me personally that they would deny me service on my 2023 VW. It’s a new car and I needed work but the manager was extremely rude and told me to leave immediately without explanation other than “we are denying you service” what a joke. NEVER GO HERE
