Incredibly fast service. Got water damage on my iPhone while at brunch in DC. It was doing a logo bootloop and I was nervous whether I would have to get a new phone or not. After a quick Google of alt options I found this shop in Silver Spring, and they inspected, quoted, and repaired my phone in 20min at a reasonable price given the alternative of a new phone. Hassle-free. 10/10 would recommend them.

So, my earlier 5 star review has to be taken down. Got an iPhone 6Plus screen replaced here. Less than 2 months later the screen just went black. The phone was protected by the highest rated Unicorn Beetle case - so we can't blame it on lack of protection. It was clearly an issue with the replacement screen. When I took the phone back, they said they only warranty their replacements for 1 month. For a new replacement they would only take off $15 and still would not warranty for any longer than a month. I had previously given them a good review for dealing with a bad repair, but looks like they've given up on customer service

Buyer Beware! This store sells off-market junk purchased cheaply from China and passes it off at an extreme markup. They do not stand behind their products and refuse all exchanges and refunds. I attempted to return a defective charger and was refused. When I asked to exchange or get my money back for the shoddy device, the manager pointed at a small "No Refunds or Exchanges" sign hung in an out of the way place on the wall. The receipt does not state the same. I will be reporting this store to the Maryland Consumer Protection Division and am upset enough with the flippant and dismissive attitude of the manager that I am considering a small claims court filing. If a store does not stand by its merchandise sufficient to offer a return for defective products, you should not trust them. The fact that they sell cheap, knock-off products that they likely buy off of eBay and then mark up 3x the cost to make a profit should turn you away immediately. I can't imagine why anyone would trust them with a wireless plan or purchase of a smart phone. Stay away!!

Came to have my screen repaired and it was done in 20 min. However, within 24 hours the phone screen had popped out in one corner and the corner glass cracked as a result. I went back to have the issue addressed and both attendants refused to refund or replace the shoddy repair. Beware!

The store's "no return, no refund" policy is not against any law that I am aware and it is their right to have that policy on a sign (be it a little obscure, hidden among many other items hung on the wall). It is not a customer-friendly policy and will result in low customer retention (which in my case will be 0% as I stated to the two staff in the mall store). Should I have seen the sign? Maybe. Was it stated during the check-out process or printed on the receipt? No. In order to create and keep good will in the community I would suggest the store change the policy. After all, customers choose to spend their money where they want and without customers, no store survives.

It's one thing to trust that you'll get good workmanship in the repair of today's complicated phones, but it's even more critical to be able to trust that you'll be treated fairly as a customer. Wireless and Repair Store at Ellsworth Place is one of those rare shops that provides peace of mind on both fronts. At a fraction of the cost that it would have taken at the Apple store to repair my broken iPhone 6+, I had a beautiful new screen within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, a little over one month later, that screen failed, likely due to a known iPhone 6 problem ( Despite my being outside their typical 30 day warranty, Wireless and Repair Store ate the cost of this manufacturer's defect in order to treat me right. They've won themselves a customer for life for all of my mobile phone needs. The owner, and the team that work here are honest, hard-working, and experts at their craft. There's no reason to go anywhere else.

Came here to get my cracked phone screen fixed. They asked if I also wanted my rear camera glass replaced for $35. It had been broken for about 8 months and didn't cause an issue but I thought I might as well get it done since I was there. They checked my camera and confirmed that the camera was fine, I just needed the glass replaced. When I got home, the rear camera was taking horrible pictures. It's important to note that my phone was taking clear pictures when I dropped it off, which they checked and confirmed that it was fine. Came back in just to ask them to clean the inside of the glass to fix the problem. I was not angry or upset at first as I thought it would be an easy fix. The tech gave me a ton of attitude and made working together very difficult. He insisted it was a bad camera and it was my fault and there was nothing wrong with the service, despite another salesman saying my camera worked fine when I brought it in. However, luckily there was a man there that helped me to settle it. They originally wanted me to pay to replace the camera, and eventually said they'd pay half and I'd pay half. I thought even that was ridiculous since my camera was taking pictures just fine when I came in and that the salesman that checked that was there and confirmed that my camera had been fine. Finally the tech got fed up and just replaced the camera for free which I accepted just to be done with it. I'm glad that they eventually did the right thing (not sure why there wasn't anything they could do to fix it considering the camera was taking pictures just fine before I dropped it off to get fixed and the salesman that tested it and knew that was there). Honestly it was a bit of an ordeal and was very frustrating, but giving 4 stars because they gave me a new camera to fix the problem which was very nice. Everyone that worked there was nice except for the tech who immediately escalated the situation from "hey could you try cleaning this again?" To a full on confrontation. Edit: the camera they put in my phone was not fully functional. It could not focus at all so anything within about 6 feet of the camera was blurry. I called the store and told them my problem and that I was coming back. When I came back the technician saw me and actually left. After several minutes I asked if he was coming back soon and I should wait and the nice older gentleman told me he would be back soon, he had an "emergency" though I could see that he went to he neighboring jewelry kiosk and was talking to a worker there. I waited and when he came back tried to tell him the problem, but he refused to look at me or speak to me. He changed the camera and then started working on another phone. I could literally see that he just put my phone down instead of giving it back to me, I was standing right behind his desk. I had to ask another worker to please get it for me. This time the camera worked. So this was my third trip (second in one day) to this store. I said thank you to the workers including the technician but he refused to turn around and look at me and acknowledge my thanks. Everyone at the business seemed nice but the tech had such a bad attitude, immediately escalated the situation every time I came in instead of just discussing the issue with me, and refused to even look at me when I came back the third time saying that the camera didn't work. My advice to the business is that he should either not work with the customers or he needs a serious attitude adjustment. My advice to a customer reading this is to just go to the Apple store. It's about $25 more to get your screen fixed but it'll be worth it to have no problems and be treated with respect.

Was thrilled to find this place so close to home. They fixed my broken iPhone screen for $70 less than the Apple store.
