I cannot say enough good things about Exis General Contracting and the incredible work they did on my kitchen remodel! If I could give them 10 stars instead of five, I absolutely would.
From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, Peter, Tameka, Ivan and his brother Alex were absolute professionals. They listened carefully to my vision, offered helpful suggestions, and truly cared about bringing my dream kitchen to life. And the results? Absolutely exceptional.
The quality of the work is simply outstanding. The attention to detail is remarkable, and everything was done with precision and care. They handled every aspect of the renovation with expertise, from cabinet installation to installing the backsplash. It’s clear that Ivan and Alex are incredibly skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work.
What’s even more amazing is that the project was completed on time and under budget! They were upfront and honest about pricing from the start, and there were no hidden fees or surprises along the way. Exis General Contracting is reasonably priced, and a great value.
Their customer service was fantastic. Peter and Tameka were always responsive, communicative and a pleasure to work with. They were patient with my questions, addressed my concerns promptly, and made the entire process stress-free.

We hired Exis in 2024 to construct an addition onto our small home. They were able to take our architect's rough plans and flesh them out fully, coming up with a design that utilized as much of our plot as we could. We ended up doubling our square footage, adding one and half bathrooms, a huge primary suite with a walk-in closet, pantry, laundry room, family room, and a deck. We couldn't be more please with the quality of work the Exis crew performed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get any work done on their home.

**5-Star Kitchen Remodel Experience**
We had an excellent experience with our recent kitchen remodel, and we're thrilled with the final result! From start to finish, the team was incredibly patient and helpful, walking us through every option and ensuring we understood all of our choices.
They took the time to explain the different materials and designs, even providing us with recommendations for the countertop source. It was clear they were focused on helping us make informed decisions that would work best for our space and budget.
The work itself was done as we had scheduled, with no delays or surprises. The crew was professional, efficient, and clearly skilled at what they do.
When it was all finished, the final product really made the kitchen POP! The attention to detail, quality of materials, and craftsmanship really stand out. Our kitchen looks fantastic, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Needed to replace the decking of our 2nd floor townhome deck. Exis was great to work with. They promtly provided an estimate (despite me providing the exact dimensions and what I was looking for, many contractors wouldn't provide a quote or gave ones way above what Exis did), came out quickly to confirm, and got on the schedule right away. The whole team was professional, prompt, and great to work with! Finished product is wonderful and would recommend the Exis team for your home modeling needs.

Exis renovated the first floor of my house, and it looks great! Niki and Peter created a kitchen for me with more counterspace and much more storage space, and replaced 30-year-old carpeting with new vinyl "wood" flooring. Giovanni and his crew were professional, on-time, and cleaned up and treated us and our house kindly. Peter has an eye for detail - several times he noticed something that needed a bit of tweaking before we noticed. Recommended!

We had a flood in our house and contracted Exis to do extensive hardwood replacement/refinishing, as well as LVP, drywall, and misc molding installation in our finished basement.
Peter and his crew were great. Very responsive, quick turnaround on the scheduling, very fair price, and just overall great quality of work. Looking forward to working with them again.

Exis General Contracting came to replace the top of an 18 foot long custom step which divides our living room and dining room. Their skilled team came to measure our project. We then made some choices among the options available. An estimate was made, and we agreed. The project included removal of the original stair, and reinstallation of a new wood sanded stained and finished to match the rest of the theme of our space. Exis General Contracting sent a crew out to us a few days later, and completed the work within one day. We are very pleased with the outcome, and the entire process. The crew worked hard, and very carefully, and with great attention to detail. Highly recommend Exis General Contractors!

Quick, efficient and quality work with a reasonable price. I found the transparency during the process very helpful as well. I needed a fence for the pool since we have a toddler, spoke with Peter and Niki on budget/appearance. The crew was out immediately after materials arrived, they were very professional and when the job was finished removed all debris and left the yard clean. I was very impressed that it was completed in 2 days. I'll be contacting them again for a few other projects I need in the future.

We used Exis for 2 major renovations. First was our master bath which was fully overhauled, including a redesign of the layout. Second was greatly expanding our kitchen which included a bump out of our house. Both times, we went to Exis with an idea, Peter came up with a plan, made a contract, and then started the project very quickly. It was faster than we we were even ready for but it was nicer to have it done sooner, I guess. Once the project started, they were on site making progress every day. I've heard other contractors can ghost for a while but Exis was there every day (other than weekends, of course). And they clean up at the end of each day (so you don't have things lying everywhere and it's minimally dusty). We are extremely happy with the quality of everything they did (except for the finishing of the floors who they subcontracted out to Julio. If we were to do another renovation, we'd use Exis but we'd ask for another floor finishing subcontractor). If there is a problem with anything, Exis will come fix the problem promptly. Overall, I highly, highly recommend using Exis for any of your construction work.
