They're OK very convenient, they are a little high but I guess it's to cover their overhead. I love the fries when they have the right ones. Sometime they will order the wrong ones. I wish that they bring back the baked carved turkey instead of using regular lunch meat.

Great food. Friendly service. It feels very safe if you need a place to stop near Wilkens or Catonsville Ave.

I've been coming to Friends Deli for three years now. It's convenient to my job, the little shop is always clean and the customer service is excellent. The food is always yummy and satisfying.

Friends Deli is located off of Wayne Avenue across from the huge parking garage. It is conveniently located in walking distance of my office building so I come here often. I have only tried their lunch menu. I usually order the Steak & Cheese Sandwich, meat is always well cooked and comes with a huge side of fries. It is reasonably priced at $7, especially for the amount of food that you get. The staff are always friendly, they greet you as soon as you enter and wish you a wonderful day as soon as you leave. Food is made on the spot and the cooks work hard to get your food out to you quickly. If you are in a rush, there are prepacked sweets and salads that you can purchase. I would recommend Friends Deli, the food is good for the price and the customers are always treated well :)

I love this place because it literally feels like walking into your parents/grandparents kitchen. Things are made-to-order with care and it helps to know that the ingredients are real! The food is delicious and while it's a small staff, the proprietor, Ms. Jane goes through great lengths to ensure each order is correct and you don't walk away unsatisfied! If you're ever in Silver Spring, you GOTTA stop by here for good eats!

I scratch my head every time I read the negative reviews associated with Friends Deli. This Deli epitomizes freshness with their daily roasted turkey, homemade soups (even the rice is freshly-steamed for their soups), and on-site prepared tuna and chicken salad. The potato, vegetable, lentil, and tomato soups are delicious! If you are not a meat eater like me, you have more than enough great choices to select from. The staff is always friendly and professional. The Deli is always spotless. I also love that Friends offers some of my favorite, healthy options including avocado, spinach or sun-dried tomato wraps, and alfalfa sprouts. Their breakfast sandwiches rival those that have people standing in line for 45 min+ at Bethesda Bagels. The pricing is reasonable. Give Friends Deli a try!

I regularly come to this restaurant for breakfast. It's near my house, so I guess you could say I come here for convenience more than anything. I usually get one of their meat/egg/cheese sandwiches (which is about $3) and sometimes I'll get a bag of chips and/or a drink. One of these days I'm going to try a breakfast platter. I took some stars off because I do not like their lunch food. I've had a Cheesesteak, Chicken Wrap, and Chicken Salad (the kind w/ mayo... not a salad w/ chicken). None of them tasted good to me. Three strikes and you're out. I will be sticking to their breakfast food only. The owner and the cooks are friendly and move very quickly. I always call in advance so my food will be ready when I arrive at the restaurant. Just FYI, this is one one those restaurants that has a $5 minimum for credit/debit card use, so make sure you have some cash if you plan to spend less than that. Maybe one day establishments with credit/debit restrictions will get with the times. Overall this is a decent, convenient carry out that I recommend to workers and residents who are within walking distance.
