One of the worst experiences I’ve had dealing with this location. Absolute disregard for customer satisfaction. Wouldn’t honor a price that was mistakenly left on a product. Blatant disregard of actual customer laws. Said go ahead make a complaint. Filed one. How hard is it to just make the customer happy. Not my mistake they didn’t change the price. Even said if that’s the wrong price. Bro it’s priced the lower price. Just not the correct way to handle improper pricing.

If I could leave zero stars I would. You would think a company that’s been in the game for a while would have some damn customer service effectiveness.
I made a purchase for a cartridge. They mailed it to me. When it came, it was in one of those small clear zip lock bags. First Red Flag. 🚩
By the looks of the cartridge you can tell it was refurbished even though on the site, they said it was NEW. SECOND RED FLAG 🚩
Tried using the cartridge and it did not work. Third red flag 🚩
I started the return process and was given clear instructions. On the instructions, it said return the cartridge to a store near by with the packing slip and a form of payment. I live 15 mins away from a store so I walked to the store in this 80 degree weather.
I got to the store and was told that not only I had to call customer service on top of All that, but I needed my ID. Now when the hell do you even need an ID to make a return?
Especially if I was told that all I need was the return item, the packaging slip and my form of payment, which was my credit card.
If you want to make good business, at least be more effective. I will never shop with Game stop again.
And anyone who wants quality game cartridges for new games, older games etc. Go to retro games.

Waited in for a release and gamestop staff says that they told their customers there would be a line that extends outside the mall. Don’t know how that works since there’s multiple entrances to the mall. Store seems to prioritize their old customers rather than sell to all. I would not return to this location due to their practices.

Showed up a half hour after opening. Lights on, but shop was closed. No one answering the phone. Will not be shopping here again.

Super busy - store looked picked through and items randomly stacked. Easier to park in Macys and walk through J parking lot into the mall

Awful customer service. I called multiple times about a pre order and not one time did they pick up the phone. I swear I wouldn't be surprised if they had their phone unplugged.

The store manager Anthony Comentale at the Wheaton Mall GameStop was extremely rude and condescending to my and my family when we went I buy a PS5 for my sons birthday, while we were in the process of purchasing the console, Anthony decided to tell us that “You can leave my store if you aren’t going to respect the fact I’ve sold my soul to this corporation” and once I told him that I would entertain his Ego Trip, Anthony contacted security and had us escorted out of the mall. Not only will we never bring our business back to Wheaton Mall GameStop , but if I see that punk Anthony again, I’ll be sure to hide my kids from him. Anthony is Not Like Us. He would rather sadistically wear a crooked smile and ruin a 10 year old’s day than serve the corporation that gives his life meaning and structure.

Although the employees are great
IM PISSED so I was going to my local game stop to get some robux and when I get home and reddem it it says invalid code and I have tried 13 times and NOTHING!!!
