Starbucks ???????????Ms. Renee ?????????? Queen BaristaThe education and wit of working here. I always have a good time with you, your personality and your smarts. Thank you girl for everything. There should be a better way. When the system crashes. Too much work not only the barista have to juggle but giant customer service as well.Idk if they just hired the girl at customer service. But the way she made me feel. She was rude and disrespectful. Starbucks system crashed I was intructed to go to customer service to check out with codes. She literally said I don't work for Starbucks. I don't know what you talking about. The disgusted look on her face like I was ordering. Me I get that but I was told to come here.Better ways. Hmm. I understand let me see if I can go get help. Quick easy nice.

Clean. Well lit. Nice employees. But as usual, the theft is crazy. The parking lot is sketchy. Just LOVE being a sanctuary state.

I'm still not the biggest fan of grocery stores in the area. But with this one being so close to where I live I could make it a regular, but it has got some tough competition in this plaza alone.I don't put all my faith in a grocery store anymore. I usually make a generic list of items that I need and never depend on the sales circular that I receive in the mail. Because, and like most times, what they have on sale, is not what I am in need of.I like to get my staples, and will attempt to get them here, but with two competitors in the plaza, I usually just go there. I only ever come out of here with a few items at most. Those would be items I know that I will not find anywhere else.

Giant in Burtonsville, Maryland has fresh flowers made into bouquets, or you can make your own bunch of flowers. The pharmacy has friendly staff. Prescriptions may be dropped off, called in or picked up. If you have insurance, the personnel will charge your insurance for you.Giant prices are a bit higher than Food Lion in Fulton, Maryland. However, Giant is convenient to where I Iive. They have a program that you get $0.10 for every dollar you spend. The points give a discount toward gas at Shell and at Giant gas stations.I like that there is a wide variety of food and International Food. There are lines where you personally scan the barcode on each purchase and pay at the checkout. Of course there are the regular lines for a large amounts of food. The cashier will take your bags and bag your items for you. Otherwise, there is a $.05 charge for each store bag you use.

Getting a deli order is a nightmare. One of the slicers complains and huffs and puffs about the amount of slicing they are doing so I tried to order on the kiosk and was directed not to by a deli employee. So I tried twice to order online. You do have a place on your website to order deli and pickup at store. IT DOESN'T WORK!!!! I tried today and when I never got a message saying my order was ready I called the deli counter and was told they don’t have anyway of accessing these orders from there. Someone else from somewhere has to walk the order over and it wasn’t done. Twice in 2 weeks. I gave it a second try and now I’m done.

Terrible experience with this location but Giant as a whole. They limited self checkout to 20 items or less but then don’t have anyone competent enough working registers to get you out of there quickly. Today, a register stopped working, the person working the register turned on his light for help, then we waited for about 10 minutes while no one showed up to help. I ended up walking out and on my way out, I pass by someone I’m guessing was the manager walking around in a daze picking up pieces of paper off the floor instead of paying attention. I get why the change was implemented but if that’s a change a company is going to make, at least have trained the staff to make it work or hire people that can make it work. For the first time I’m really glad that Amazon is taking everything over. Once their grocery service is more widespread, I can see stores like Giant quickly closing their doors. I’ll be going to Safeway until that happens.

Self checkout is awful and basically impossible but there are never enough lanes open with checkers. The food quality is average, pioces are a little high IMO and the aisles are ALWAYS blocked with pallets. This is not a handicapped friendly store. Actually, it's just not a good store at all. There used to be much smaller Giant nearby that was managed much better.

Lots to choose from.Generally clean, i guess.Worst thing is probably checkout. An hour from closing, no cashiers available. Self checkout has a sign "20 items or less" but of course that is null and void because - what?! - no cashiers. And that annoying voice at self-checkout, "Put your item in the bag..." i know how to do that, thank you very much.

Nice new store , but the downside is a very busy parking lot (which people also need to pass through to get to other stores in the center). Although I don’t regularly shop here, I do come when I need a specific or harder to find item and I’ve always been able to find it. Pretty sure its the only store in the area with 00 pizza flour.

They got a nice hot food counter but it's so hard to get anyone's attention. Feels like a chore to ask for some chicken and generally an unpleasant experience. Once they finally do show up, I always get some weird level of attitude even when they screw up because they can't know the difference between thigh and breast. Mind you I don't even say anything other than asking for food, they just raise their voice or roll their eyes unexpectedly - very weird and uncomfortable to interact with them. Just want my lunch and get outta there. The sushi guy is really nice tho and refreshing compared to the other workers

Store is very clean and organized, well stocked and friendly staff. Another nice thing is they usually have several human cashiers open rather than exclusively self check out.

Too many Giants in the area but this store is well stocked and has a nice food bar and lots of already made food options. So far the only knock against this location is, everytime I go to the bakery area, it's close to impossible to get anyone to help me. 2 weekends ago, I was standing in front of the glass area that showcased the different cupcakes/cakes, etc. for close to 10 minutes and workers were coming in and out of that area placing breads and loaves on the shelves and weirdly none of the women that came from the back area, never acknowledged me even though I was standing there all that time. This particular time, I really needed help, while other times, I wanted to ask a question and still no one offered to help. While the other Giant locations that are near, always ask within 3 minutes do I need help. Hopefully, it's just a weird fluke that this seems to happen to me when I go to this location, but going forward I hope the workers in the bakery department pay more attention to those of us that might need help.

I came here on the eve of Valentine’s Day, rushing to get flowers for both my mother and girlfriend. Maria was my cashier and she was great! Also, the young lady who makes the flower arrangements did an amazing job. The flowers were stunning. Why spend an arm and a leg at a florist when I can come to my local Giant and get the same great quality!? 5/5, would recommend!
