This is a standard size Giant Food store. It has one main store entrance. The other entrance is closed off on the outside & is an emergency exit only. Here you have all the variety you need for a successful grocery shopping trip. The produce is fresh. I bought a two pound of bag of mandarin oranges on sale recently. In general, the prices are quite competitive, but I was very thrilled to to see double Stuffed Oreo cookies on sale for BOGO the next week. This was an offer I could not pass up. Two packages for $7. Customer service has been good especially at the self-checkout stations. This is impressive! Parking is easy and plentiful in the shopping center lot. My only complaint is that a lot of the coupons require a $25 purchase. Until next time be kind to each other. @yelpdc #giantfood #oreocookies

Dead rodent in isle 14. Employee mentioned they knew and nobody seemed to care. Imagine what else might be happening! The smell of death was overwhelming and could be noticed from quite the distance. The infestation might be bad and what we don't see is the concern. Avoid this place.

The pharmacy customer service is horrible. Nothing gets done. I think CVS Pharmacy is much better

I love our Colesville Giant Pharmacy on Randolph Rd. I don’t even know how to express feeling words to describe the love love and care the pharmacists have shown to me and my family. They have gone above and beyond for us. The pharmacists were (Elizabeth; Gigi and Kathy). They have cared for me and my family for over a decade now. They care about deeply about us. They are prompt with their calls, they double check for insurance clarifications, double check doctor orders. My medications are given to me in a timely manner and I am very satisfied with their care and service. Whenever they see me in the store and I walk by pharmacy, I always make sure to say hi to them because that is how much they have impacted my life and my family’s live. Thank you again for all the care and love to us Elizabeth, Gigi and Kathy. You guys truly are amazing pharmacists and Giant is beyond blessed to have you three there. Thank you again from my heart for all you have done for me and my family. - Deepthi White ❤️??

I absolutely hate this location. I've been coming here for years and it consistently gets worse and worse. The staff are not friendly or helpfull, the pharmacy is the worst, always so slow with a long line. The produce is always bate and sometimes the food is not fresh. The deli staff makes you feel like your bothering them. Unfortunately it is convenient as far as location so I continue to come.

Pro: big parking lot, clean environment, self serve lottery machine, lot of self check out machine, Con: always long line at customer service This store had a refresh on the inside a few years ago and still look new upon entering. Parking lot is big with plenty of space. The giant is next to smaller store such as subway and more. There is a lottery machine that is self use. The customer service area is always has long line due to only 1 person working back there. If this giant doesn't work out for you there is another giant by cherry hill shopping area that just open up recently.

Do NOT go here!! I have never been so disrespected in my life. The woman working in the self service checkout lane "Sharon" was Very Rude and Disrespectful. I was checking out my groceries and just when I was finishing and about to pay this woman comes up out of nowhere shoving a paper mask in my face telling me "put this on". This woman had her hand all over the mask and it wasn't even in a sealed package. I don't know that woman nor do I know where her hands been and I don't know where she got that mask from so I told her, No. I just walked around the store for 30+ minutes shopping, stood in line, rang up all of my groceries and all of a sudden I'm harassed about a mask when I'm about to swipe my card to pay. She then started to be very verbally abusive towards me and followed me outside the store when I left. She told me to, "Eat her a**** I went back into the store to ask for the manager and some young guy said that he was the manager; I told him what she said to me and he just looked at me like I was crazy and he was more concerned with telling me to pull my mask up. At that point I left the store because I'm tired of dealing with uninformed people that make ignorant remarks. If you have your mask on why are you worried about me. I have natural immunity. I can't get it nor can I spread it but I don't feel that I have to discuss my medical history or standing with a stranger in the grocery store. People need to wake up and stop violating people's human rights. A mandate is Not a law and I'm tired of grocery stores and other people trying to play politics and try to enforce policies that clearly infringe on everyone's human and civil rights. No One have the authority to tell me or anyone else to put something over their face to obstruct their breathing. US Code Title 18 Section 245 is a FEDERAL LAW! Not mandate. People need to read the US Constitution and The Bill of Rights. I think most people have forgotten about that. At this point I'm not going back into another Giant grocery store again, they're not the only game in town. I can go to Safeway, Shoppers, Aldi, Price Rite and many others; I don't NEED Giant, Giant NEEDS me and people like me. If they want to play politics, harass their customers and insult them, fine; I'll take my business elsewhere.

The costumer service is not very good anymore. The shelves are never stocked with everything you need. Some of the staff behave like they don't care or what to be there. I guess that my be a little understandable, I'm sure there job is not easy but that is not the fault of the consumer. I've lived in the area for years and I've seen service go down hill. I just wish good service was still important.

Typically I live this Giant pharmacy but today is a NO GO! I made an appointment for my booster shot and when I arrived there were about 10 people ahead of me. When I asked if there was only one person giving the shots and working the window, I was told yes! If you make an appointment, it is my understanding that you will be seen within a reasonable time not waiting over 20 minutes and nothing. I left because I did not anticipate the backup as this is not a doctor's office. Now I'm expected to make another appointment?!?

I'm updating my previous review because on a recent visit to this Giant I was impressed with the renovations and the variety of some stock. We went in mainly for onions and a few other things, but found some fun new to us products. The produce and flower section was clean and neat. The produce looked fresh and there was a nice selection of flowers and some succulents. We found everything on our list and then some. Rich picked out pre-packaged spiced shrimp and some seasoned salmon for his lunch. He said both were very good. In one of the refrigerator cases near the cheese I found a Mediterranean anti-pasta trio with olives and feta. Into the cart it went. I know it's pretty nerdy but I was so excited that Ragu now has boxes with 4 individual servings of pasta sauce. I love Rich's homemade sauce, but also sometimes just want Ragu for a quick lunch. I hate opening a whole jar for one serving. I put the rest in the freezer and usually forget that it's there. Perfect, seafood for Rich, Ragu for me and lunch is taken care of. There are plenty of self-serve stations and they seem to have gotten the self scanners updated and more reliable. This is not a big Giant so certainly not the selection of Olney or even Wheaton, but nice and convenient for us for small shopping trips.

Another pharmacist wishing they were a physician. Totally unprofessional. Elizabeth Nagallenes totally discussed my prescriptions while there was a long line. I looked up and everyone in the line was looking in our direction. My next email is to the District Manager, again! I have only ever witnessed the pharmacy staff give people of color a hard time. This is not the first time! Take your business elsewhere! This is the second Giant Food Pharmacy I have had issues with. My next move is to a pharmacy outside of this supermarket chain.

This review isn't for the Giant itself, but a particular employee. The store is fine and I frequent it quite a bit, but the employee, Huma, I dealt with today should not be working in customer service with the behavior and attitude that she had. She was rude and impatient and uncaring. I was waiting in line a while, behind an elderly woman and watched their interaction. The cashier was so rude. While bagging her things, she was slamming things and even carelessly tossed her eggs in the bag and the cart. When the elderly woman was writing her check, the cashier snapped at her and told her to write exact change. Then when asking her to sign something, she handed the paper and let it fall carelessly and expected the elderly woman to bend down and fetch it herself. After the woman paid, Huma started scanning my items and then turned and snapped "Move" to the elderly woman. The whole experience was just awful to watch, and made me so uncomfortable. The cashier also snapped at the other front end attendants while helping me. She was just rude. It's one thing to have a bad day, but don't take it out on your coworkers and especially don't take it out on customers. I highly doubt I'll return to this Giant after seeing how employees treat their customers. How disappointing.

This is a small giant so they don't have all the items you need. Also it's always really crowded and there's no cart return in the parking lot.

This Giant location is busy, but clean and organized! Not my usual go to store but recently I happened to be nearby waiting on an order from Ledo's. Even trying to find a parking spot was a hassle here. I hadn't been to this store in years and it seems like it's been updated since my last visit. I only needed a few items. I found what I needed and I was out of there. The cashier was very friendly and asked if I found everything I was looking for. Being that it was in the afternoon, the store was a bit too crowded for my comfort. When I go to grocery stores these days I go very early in the morning! Won't necessarily make this my go to location, but it's an option if I'm not at my regular spot!
