“This store is a gem - both for everyday beautiful pieces and for designing custom pieces. I designed 4 customs pieces with the Shelter team and from start to finish they were patient, helpful, and insightful, offering expert opinions and recommendations about what would best protect and represent my stones and my vision. I could not have been happier with my experience!”
“I love coming to this place. If you are looking for just about any fragrance, this is your spot! The prices are SPOT ON and there’s always a good sale for you to take advantage of. Can’t wait to go back again.”

“I love shopping at Steadfast Supply. They have such unique and fun items in their store. I never leave empty handed. They source incredible greeting cards too and it's my first stop in the neighborhood for any card I need for personal or work scenarios!”
“Attended an event at the Reach Center at the Kennedy Center. Too much walking. but wonderful vibe. The folks at the gift shop helped me find my event (I was lost for at least 20 minutes). Lol! The staff is SUPER helpful !”
“Outstanding environment, this is the best place to visit after your, visit to the White House., The staff is fully ingage when you walk in store. I've been a customer since 2013. ANDY HARLAND, LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA USA USA ??”
“This is my go to for all things for my home and for gifts. The customer service is like no other place and they truly have the best curation of anywhere I shop for my home.”
“I bought a gift for my mom. It’s a stork on a mug. Nicely done and well made. The associate put it in a box and wrapped it with a pretty ribbon and tied a bow on it. I am so happy with the gift. The price is reasonable, and the gift is valuable. I would compare back.”

“Love this shop on Kensington’s antique row. It’s full of fun gifts and lots of local/seasonal finds. Perfect for picking up a hosting gift or housewarming and fun to browse.”
“This is a great shop, I live out of states and I keep buying my sister and sister in law gifts here. The staff is super responsive and I have even been called by them to check if it was a gift. Not sure how I found them, but glad I did!”
“I just popped in because I happened to be in the neighborhood and I must say, this is a really really good store. A lot of it is stationary, but they also have a huge selection of Plush, Model kits, figures and other merch from a myriad of different series. And while I’m not really a fan of K-Pop, if you are there’s certainly a wide selection of K-Pop merch as well. I even managed to pick up this sick Minus One Godzilla figure for around 30 bucks. Also the woman at the counter was so nice and even listened to my story about how hyped I was when Godzilla Won an Oscar and How I hope Transformers One gets Best Animated Picture this year. All in all a very Positive Otaku experience And I wholeheartedly recommend checking this place out.”
“The only smoke shop in DC worth going to! The staff are so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. Most importantly though… the vibes. They are the best. No where else gets my business—if you’re considering checking this place out, I highly recommend it!”
“An absolute gem! The owner is bright and has a big heart for helping and promoting women! The fabrics, designs and colors are awe inspiring! I wish I lived here, I'd come more often!”
“An amazing place to stumble into during a hot girl walk, perfect for finding a unique card for your long-distance best friend in Europe. A HUGEEEEE shoutout to Monique (hope I’m spelling it correctly) for beautifully handwriting my message inside the card”

“Doing Nisey’s is like being on a treasure hunt. You will find something that satisfies your desire, need or want. While shopping, the vibe you experience is like therapy. A real feel good place. The proprietor (Jackie) is informative, creative, sweet and a true jewel.??”
“I found this business online while on the hunt for a wooden wine holder shaped as a duck for my girlfriend's mother as she had added this to her Christmas wishlist. (Yes, I know it sounds silly). I'm skeptical when it comes to online shopping with the way the world is today but I hoped for the best & ended up purchasing the item. What led me to their site was the fact that the product was way cheaper than the competitors & their shipping timeframe was promising. About a week later, I received the item and it was perfect! Exactly as described, got here quickly, and didn't cost an arm or a leg to do so! Very satisfied customer!”

“I enjoyed shopping at this store and found the perfect gifts for a variety of occasions. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, especially Dana. They carry many of my favorite products including Swedish soap, Inis handcream and Homesick candles. I am now following them on Instagram and they will ship out of state.”
“This shop has such heart and is a great little hidden gem. It's filled to the brim with fun and laugh provoking objects and snark. It has lots of wallet critical hit objects like Vera Bradley too.
The shop owner was warm and welcoming and the store was a great place to duck in out of the weather while visiting Rockville Town center.”

“This store is GREAT for gifts, surprises, or just some nice finds to have around your home. It's also great for finding puzzles, games, or hobbies to do on your own. They also had quality cards for special occasions, and many unique items - and all for a good value - that really made me appreciate this store. It's a shop that's worth coming by over and over again, whenever I'm in the area to see what finds for sale the owner has managed to pull out of the top hat. And this isn't a second-hand shop.”
“The staff and owner of this sweet shop went ABOVE AND BEYOND to embroider something last minute for Christmas. The staff and owner are lovely. They make their own candles (not a scented candle person, usually too stinky) but theirs are perfectly balanced and natural - and are made by women who are in need (I bought two). Lovely linens, robes, jewelry, etc. I will be recommending this sweet shop to all my friends.”
“I come here for every birthday gift I need to buy. It never fails as a one stop shop. The inventory is perfectly curated, the staff is so pleasant and helpful and the prices are right in line. I love that the merchandise is bagged pretty with ribbon so I don’t need to wrap the gifts! 10/10”
“I love this store, both the Shirlington and Wharf locations! They have a variety of unique gift ideas - but my favorite is their selection of vintage jewelry 5 stars all the way!”
“I think my 6 year old said it best, "wow! This is like an art museum! Oh every room gets better!" Urban farmhouse is a treasure. I come here (and upstairs to Covet) any time I want to find a unique and thoughtful gift. I adore the urban farmhouse vibe, I think I've gotten everything from greeting cards to unique vases to guacamole dishes to bottle openers to tea mugs. I'm delighted every time by the curated selection and friendly service. Shop local and this lovely spot!!”
“A Mano is the number one gift resource in DC. I had no idea what to get our clients and friends for the holidays this year. I walked into A Mano in Georgetown and Mary took care of everything, quickly gave me ideas and ranges - a monogrammed throw was a big hit, along with inventive items you're not going to find anywhere else. Gift wrapping was pro level. Thanks also to Stacey for help via text - great service!”
“This is actually one of the best museum gift shops I see in DC. There are so many options, the designs are unique and cute (not just regular, boring museum merch), and they support payment via WeChat and Zhifubao.”

“This was my first time at National Archives Store. My toddler and I found so many awesome gifts to bring back home. Staff were extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Top quality items! Very well organized. I experience wonderful customer service. Highly recommend shopping here on your DC trip.”
“Visited with MIL - a gem of a find. While small, lots of beautiful and unique gifts, especially for the hard-to-shop-for category. The owner was a delight and we were happy to leave with nice gifts for others (bags, jewelry, and definitely some for ourselves). It's right off Eastern Market and upstairs from a cards and balloons shop so a bit hard to see from the street - but worth seeking out!”
“I wanted to give a special shout out to this store. I don’t usually send deliveries but my son lives up in this area and I’m in Florida and I wanted to do something nice and put a smile on his face for his birthday. This store superseded my expectations. The manager reached out to me early in the morning to let me know what the delivery times would be and then the driver kept in touch with me of when it would be delivered. My son was so excited and happy to get this little surprise but he was super impressed with what was in the package. They did an amazing job with his goodies and looked beautiful. If I ever need another delivery up in this area. I’ll be sure to contact this place! Thank you to everyone here that made the day a success!”
