If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They will falsely claim you haven’t paid your rent and you will have an eviction notice on your door from Montgomery sheriff department with a court date. They will call you and tell you it was a mistake by corporate. A MISTAKE that could hinder your career and embarrassment when you paid your rent. This is not okay!!!

I am looking to move very soon and I put in applications to a couple of places. This was by far my favorite. Everyone was friendly, the property is well kept, and it’s quiet as well.

This complex is infested with rats. Do not move to this facility. Management only gives them rat traps. I will be taking this as far as I need to in order to have it resolved.

I lived in Hampton point Apartments for five years and the staff here is excellent. They’re very responsive to your request and try to help resolve every problem. Maintenance does an excellent job of maintaining our apartment. I really appreciate the way the management office cares for residents.
Thank you

Edit: WORSE THAN I THOUGHT.
I moved to another apartment complex that is less than a mile away. Honestly, I did not realize how truly bad Hampton Point is until I moved out! Their leasing process was rushed and I can clearly see now that they do not care about their tenants and are not transparent at all. They are also trying to charge me for renter’s insurance after I already moved out, even though my policy expired after I moved out. This tells me either they do not know the status of their tenants or they are just downright dishonest. Move elsewhere if you can!
Original Review:
If you are looking for an apartment in this area, I would recommend trying any of the five other apartment complexes in the area over this one. I have lived here for over a year, and it is severely overpriced. The apartment is poorly insulated, and you can hear everything through the walls. They sloppily painted over everything after the previous tenant, leaving paint marks on the floor. Appliances, cabinets, and countertops are extremely dated and simply not worth what they charge for the rent. They reached out with my renewal offer ninety days before my lease expiration. I wanted to move into a smaller apartment and requested a transfer, but they stated that they did not have any availability during the time that I wanted to transfer. Still, they encouraged me to go ahead and sign the renewal offer anyway, which would have put me on the hook for another year, and I would have had to pay an extra month of rent to transfer apartments later. Overall, I can confidently say that living here is not worth it. Several apartment complexes right down the road offer the same quality, if not better, apartments for cheaper.

I’m going on about 2weeks into living at Hampton Point & I just want to thank Kayla for a super smooth transition & for all of her diligence in ensuring I had everything I needed ready for my move in day! The rental office team is super helpful and amicable, definitely a breath of fresh air. I would for sure recommend these apartments for living, the spaces are a little on the small side, but it’s just enough room for the price & comfortable living. Neighborhood is super peaceful and quiet. No issues so far, I can name! Loving my new place! :)

And just like that, a star added back. Thank you WPM for reaching out in interest to my concerns. Thank you for the effort and care.

I’m coming up on two years at this complex definitely not resigning the lease they have increased the prices twice with no new amenities. The infestation of mice is crazy and the pool over the summertime is barely cleaned so after a week of it opening, it gets dirty very quickly and it takes them a long time to clean it. My fridge has stopped working on me twice to all my food going bad and me having to replace everything in the fridge . And my heater has stopped once in the winter and it took them about two weeks to get to my unit

I am a proud resident of Hampton Point! Apartment living is not always easy however, with staff as excellent, responsive, and warm as Kayla (my favorite leasing agent) has helped me navigate the (sometimes) stressful apartment life. I had a terrible leak in my unit and the way Kayla was so empathetic and determined to solve my problem, if ever I am in need of assistance and have questions, I run to her. No matter how busy she is, she always takes the time to acknowledge me and make me feel as though my issues are just as important as other tenants. Her professionalism yet gregarious nature have been my top 5 reasons I have stayed here.

Horrible and unprofessional leasing office. My first experience was with Ken Tran. I submitted an application with Hampton point. After I submitted, I was threatened with a cancellation of my application if I didn’t complete it or give all the documentation within 24hours. Mind you I turned in the application Thursday afternoon was told i had 24 hours. which is unheard of! I work at a private practice and would need until Monday to provide some documentation. On Monday I received an email saying they are terminating my lease because they tried to contact me. Ken only called me once that was late Saturday right before they closed. I had to go in the office physically on Tuesday to talk to a manager on why they canceled my application so quickly. I was then spoken to by Van cooper who is the property manager. Another person who was unpredictable, unprofessional and unhelpful. He claimed all I needed was a certain document. Then it switched to other documents I had to provide which I did. Just so he could tell me I needed more documentation. An all around mess. He kept saying he would contact me back about my approval. To let me know if I was accepted. Days would go by I would have to keep calling or emailing the office. All I can say is I don’t think company has chooses the right people to represent their company values and business. If you want to be respected and not just treated like commission or waste money on a application fee. I would go elsewhere.

Awful. Abandoned cars and cars being broken into. Office staff (Ken in particular) is extremely unhelpful and late to respond. Had teens outside of my apartment smoking weed in the middle of the day, people trying to open my door in the middle of the day, and people screaming at night. No one cleans up after their dogs and people dump furniture there regularly. It looks nice during the day but I frequently didn’t feel safe. At one point they had to change everyone’s locks because people were breaking into apartments and the storage shed so frequently. The pool was never open because the leasing office was under construction despite us being charged for those amenities. The actual apartment itself is average at best. I moved in for one year and then was forced to move out (not that I wanted to stay there anyway but still) because they were renovating all of the apartments. I will say maintenance staff is good though. Don’t recommend and so happy to be out of there and in a much better apartment community now.

I have lived at Hampton Point for a little over 3 years. I have seen about 4 managers before WPM took over. So I can say I’m familiar with the front office staff. Van…. AMAZING. I have NEVER seen a manager walk the property picking up trash in a suit?. I was super impressed. I just recently transferred apartments. I must say I LOVED my apartment before but now I’m IN LOVE with my apartment. There’s ample parking fun amenities and activities. On top of coming home to an amazing apartment I couldn’t ask for more.
