I had an excellent experience at the Alexis dealership thanks to Dwayne Marie in the parts department. Dwayne went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire process incredibly smooth. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to great customer service, and Dwayne truly stands out. I really appreciate his professionalism and willingness to help.
Definitely recommend asking for Dwayne if you need anything from the parts departmen you’ll be in great hands!

Luis Prada was extremely helpful with even helping me call to get my insurance info to take out a loaner for the day. He was very helpful, pleasant, friendly, professional, knowledgeable. I definitely will take our car there for service. Felt very comfortable and a family oriented environment.

Two weeks ago I was driving into DC with my 3.5 year old to meet some family who had flown in for a few days. Right outside Silver Spring my 2014 hatchback Impreza's dashboard just lit up with every code imaginable. After pulling over I found the nearest Subaru dealer, which happened to be Herb Gordon Subaru and called their service department. I am so glad I did. What could've been an absolutely horrific event, was made totally manageable, and even pleasant, by the team in the service department there. No one wants to be told part of their transmission is failing on a normal day, let alone on when you're on a road trip and it's 95+ degrees out and you have a cranky toddler. They got me in and out and I didn't even have to stay an extra night in the area. They got me a loaner, gave my kid snacks and me water, and were so unbelievably kind. Herb. Buddy. If you're reading these reviews, give those people raises. They deserve it.

We visited Silver Spring Subaru applied for a small Impreza, we have use a co-signer which is me , to apply , the manager and sales told us the bank is asking for down payment , of $3,000.00 dollars on a credit sale ! (Big word credit) so I called the bank to ask why so much ! Bank said the DOWN PAYMENT REQUEST COMES from the Dealer ! So they lie to everyone! And I kept searching and I found out that down payment s are illegal ! 15 US Code 1605

He offers us coffee for a reason ! To get a stinky down payment! The Bank knows is illegal ! You have to have guts to do this type of Rip off !!! Your credit is never the issue ! Is the car dealers ! Mark this one ! As advantage takers ! Don’t let them fool you

We had a wonderful experience this week buying a used Hyundai Santa Cruz at Herb Gordon Subaru in Silver Spring. Specifically, we were treated like friends or VIPs by our salesperson Luke Coard. Luke is a real gentleman and is a friendly, knowledgeable, attentive salesman. Anyone would enjoy buying a car from Luke. He had the car ready for us when we arrived, gave us plenty of time to test drive with no pressure, gave us a tour of the service area, and worked with his team to get us the best deal possible; all with a smile. His finance/paperwork team member Jim was a pleasure as well. Once all was done, the car was gassed up and detailed for us to take home. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a car and if I were you, I would ask for Luke to help you.

I got several repairs done my last visit and a $400 repair that I declined was done as well. I’m unsure of where the miscommunication occurred with my original advisor but it was very upsetting that I was then told by another advisor that my only option was to finance the repair I did not want. I was repeatedly told by this advisor that the repair couldn’t be undone, which, of course, i understood. The issue was the fact it was done at all. Im sure the repairs were all done well and in a reasonable timeframe and I had no issues during my interactions with my original advisor. I just wish I left feeling like a respected customer and not put into the position of having to fight for my financial stability.
EDIT: Greg Edwards, the service and parts director, reached out to me and we spoke about my last visit and I was told a service credit was put on my account. I really appreciated the effort that was put in to get in contact with me and rectify the situation and it was a pleasure speaking to Greg!
